Welcome to the team championship. There are rules that have to be followed in order to have this competition run without too many hassles. - Teams are to chose 3 players to represent them. How you chose them is up to the captain of the team. - Each tournaments match ups will be put on the site at the start of the tournament. When you see your opponents in the room, make sure you play them. - The dates that the games need to be completed by will be on this website. - Games can be played in any room on the zone. Rated or unrated. For the game to be played as rated, both players must agree to it being rated. If one doesn't want the game to be played in the rated room, then that person can chose a room of their choice where they can play that game. - Each game played will consist of players playing on one side, then after the first game swap sides and play the next game. So there will be 2 games played for each match up. - 1 point will be given for a win, 1/2 for a draw and 0 for a loss. - The results of the games are to be sent to the e-mail teamtournies@yahoo.com.au. Take a screenshot after the end of each game and sent it to that e-mail address. The winner of the game should take the screenshot, if it's a draw, either player can take the screenshot. Sending of results to the e-mail and the taking of screenshots won't be neccassary if there are a number of people watching the game and they can act as witnesses. - Games are to be played with kibitzing left on so people can watch and witness the game. Hacking is no longer a problem. - If anyone disconnects during the game, play the game again. Any game that hasn't been complete because of a disconnect, play again with the SAME moves. If there are any problems regarding a disconnect during the game, screenshot the game and let me know of the problem. - Any games that are not completed will be looked at individually. If it is found that one player hasn't been in the room and hasn't made that game possible for it to be played, then their opponent will get a forfeit win, 2 points. So make sure that the games are played and that players make themselves available to play the games. - Please check back on this site often so you can see updated results and especially the captains of the teams so they can see which games are yet to be played. - I will also remind captains of any games that haven't been completed, just to let those people know. - Players are not required to play on team names, but that is up to that teams policies. Anyone can start up a team and must have a team name that they play under, but you can play your games under your normal nicknames. Players must play on the names that are on the team list that the captain has given me. - If the captain of the team needs to replace someone for any reason, then those games that have already been played will remain and the replacement player can play the remaining matches.
