Nextel Shootout $$$ Rules and Format

Definitions:

*Pole Winner - Driver, of the 16 in the Nextel Shootout, that finishes highest in qulaifying

Race Winner - Driver, of the 16 in the Nextel Shootout, that finishes highest in the race

*Should pole qualifying be rained out, there is no pole winner for that race.

Weekly Payouts:

Pole Winner - $1 per driver

Race Winner - $5 per driver

Nextel Season Ending Payouts:

Each owner owes $50 toward season ending 'pot'. The 'pot' will be divided as follows:

Highest finishing driver in Nextel Cup Standings - $400

Second highest finishing driver in Nextel Cup Standings - $250

Third highest finishing driver in Nextel Cup Standings - $150
