Steven Richards and a small army, including members of Xtreme surrounded L.A.'s biggest mall with guns, armed and ready. "Wait, until I give the signal, then move in and block all exits." Steven said.
After about five minutes, Steven's cell phone rang, he shook his head to his men and said "Move in." Richards and his small army entered the mall with their guns drawn. The mall was full of people, they saw the men and screamed. All the exits are blocked, a guard ran to Steven, he was shot and killed.
Steven then spoke up "Ladies and gentlemen, all exits have been blocked, there is no escape..." three more guards ran to Richards, they were also shot and killed "...anyone else wanna be a hero?"
Steven then grabbed Billy Kidman who was next to him and said "Take some of the men and find the rest of the guards and bring them to me." Kidman shook his head and ran off with a few more people. Steven then got on his cell phone and said "It's happening."

Jeff Hardy was sitting inside Studio 25 on the Powerhouse lot, he was walking around the set of Joanie Laurer's soap opera, "Southern Heat". "Quiet on the set." The director yelled. The set quieted down and Jeff moved to his seat next to the director "...and ACTION." The director said.
Joanie and fellow actress Torrie Wilson did their scene. Jeff's cell phone rang, which stopped the scene. Jeff walked up to Joanie, whispered something into her ear, she nodded, Jeff then left the set.

Vince McMahon got a call at his office. "Hello.......what?.......thank you." Vince hung up the phone and ran out of his office.

FBI agents, Vince McMahon, Matt Hardy, Paul Levesque, Billy Gunn and Chris Irvine arrived at the mall that Steven and Xtreme were in, the local police, the SWAT team, and even the national guard had arrived. The mall was now surrounded by the authorities.
"How many hostages?" Matt asked "Over 500, men, women and children." Paul said. "We've got to get in there then." Matt said to Vince. "That would be suicide and you know it." Vince replied. "Sir..." Chris Irvine said "What?" Vince said "...we just got word that your daughter Stephanie and her friend, Stacy Keibler are in there." Irvine said. Vince sat against a car in shock, a shot was fired, hitting Vince in the shoulder.

"I know this part Matt, skip it please." Vince said as he walked around his office. "You said tell you everything." Matt said. "I know that I got shot, I was there, skip this part and get to the end of the mall hostage situation." Vince said. Matt sat back in his chair. "Ok." Matt replied.

One month ago...
"Steven's got a hostage." Mark LeMonica yelled. Matt and Paul aimed their guns at Steven. "Let the hostages go, Steven." Matt yelled. Steven fired his gun at Matt Hardy. FBI sniper Devon Hughes fired a shot and killed Steven Richards, got him right between the eyes.
The FBI agents quickly took over the mall and arrested as many as they could, but most of the Xtreme group got away, the hostages were freed.

That night Matt was at home when he turned on the KTLA news: "A high powered executive at L.A.'s Powerhouse Studios was revealed as a member of the terrorist group Xtreme today when he took over L.A.'s largest mall and killed five security guards, then was shot and killed himself, by an FBI sniper, more details at 11."
Matt looked at the TV stunned. "That's the connection." Matt said to himself.

The next day Matt Hardy pulled up to Amy Dumas's house in Beverly Hills, CA. Amy was coming out of the front door with her daughter Tori.
"Hardy, what are you doing here?" Amy said, angrily
"You want to explain to me how a high powered executive with everything going for him would become a member of Xtreme?" Matt asked.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Amy replied, Matt grabbed her and spun her around.
"I think you do know what is going on Dumas, now why would one of Hollywood's most powerful executives be a terrorist?" Matt asked.
"You have no idea what is going on Hardy?" Amy yelled.
"Oh, I think I do. I'm thinking that everyone who works for Powerhouse studios is a part of Xtreme." Matt said as a black car pulled on to the street.
"It's too big for even you to stop Hardy, you can't stop them all." Amy yelled.
The car sped to the house, slowed down, the window rolled down and Nora Greenwald leaned out of the window and fired a 9 mm at Amy. Matt ducked behind his car and shot at Nora. Matt ran down the street and fired at the car until he ran out of bullets. "Dammit...." Matt yelled "...Amy." Matt ran back to Amy and cradled her in his arms, Tori ran back inside the house.
"Amy" Matt said as his voice cracked.
Amy coughed up blood. "Matt..."
"You'll be okay." Matt said.
"No, it had to end this way..."
"Don't talk like that, I can help you."
"No, just do a couple of things for me..." Amy said.
"Anything, just name it." Matt said.
"Take care of Tori for me..." She said as she spat up more blood.
"And the other thing?" Matt asked.
Amy grabbed his shirt and looked straight into his eyes. "Get Jeff, and kill that bastard slowly." Amy said as she drew her last breath and died.
