THE FRESH START
Mon. 04/02/01 – 8:00pm – Fort Worth, TX- Raw Taping
My classmates spent the day re-familiarizing themselves with the friends they made of the wrestlers, I noticed Nicole showing concern for Paul after his match with The Undertaker last night, she thought he was actually hurt; I smiled as I thought of it. Nora, Joanie and I were in my dressing room resting up; when Stephanie came in and told us it was "time". Raw was starting.
After the pyros went off, Stephanie came out and talked about Trish Stratus and her "whipping" match. Vince then came out carrying a red gift box, Steph left the ring and came backstage where I was waiting with Nicole, Dani McKinney and the Nelsons, she walked up to me and said "As soon as dad puts the hat on, it's your cue" "Ok" I replied, as I took my place next to the curtain, sure enough Vince put the cowboy hat on and I came out, no music, but a fairly decent pop. Vince stopped dead in his tracks as I entered the ring.
"Vince, I have to inform you of something, now I'm sure everyone knows how I got into the WWF last year…" I paused, the crowd cheered "… I saved your life Vince. But you know what, after your actions during the entire time I was here, not a day has gone by that I don't regret saving your sorry ass on that cold February night." The crowd got louder as I finished.
"You have the audacity to come out here and say that to my face, and alone no less…" I interrupted him "Who said I was alone" With that, the Rock's music hit, and he ran down to the ring and demanded a re-match, Vince refused, Rock asked again, again McMahon refused, Rock then punched Vince and put him in a sharpshooter, I grabbed a mic and went down to Vince and put the mic in his face, he then agreed to the Rock's re-match, but made it a cage match. Rock and I walked backstage as Raw went to a commercial.
I then came backstage and saw Eddie Gurrero, my next opponent. I looked over at Nicole, Triple H was talking to her and from the looks of it, he seemed to be demonstrating some wrestling moves, because he kept punching his hand, and Nicole repeating what he was doing, I just shrugged it off and waited for my cue.
Ice vs. Eddie Gurrero – WWF European Title match
Eddie Gurrero came out with Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn, Ice came out alone. Ice controlled the match until Stephanie McMahon came out with a leather strap and hit Ice across the back with it, Eddie made the quick pinfall. Eddie Gurrero is the new WWF European Champion.
Steph quickly made her way to William Regal's office to do a promo.
When I got backstage, Nicole and Triple H were gone, but Andrea and her friend Staci were there. I couldn't hear what they were saying but I made out the manes "Mark and Glenn", I guess she meant The Undertaker and Kane. We then watched Vince do a promo with Regal, then to see Trish walk to the ring, Trish said "Excuse me' to some people, Andrea quickly identified them, it was Victor, Kris, and Stephanie and Dani McKinney.
The three of us then watched Ashley do her promo with the RTC, when they mentioned the Hardcore Title, Andrea and Ashley started giggling, I still had no idea why and Andrea knew it. "Don't worry, you'll find out," She said. Stephanie and Trish came through the curtain and Steph told me that my cue was when Regal hits his neckbreaker.

I was supposed to sell the fact that I was angry for losing the European Title. So when Regal hit his neckbreaker, I bolted down to the ring and chased Regal and Stephanie away from ringside. Steph looked like she saw a ghost. I returned backstage, Andrea and Staci were still there, but now Leah and David had joined them, and Nicole was back. "Your girl is on next," Leah said. Molly and Crash came out to face Rhyno.

Rhyno won the match and "Gored" Molly afterwards.
Terry "Rhyno" Gerin came backstage and I got in his face. "That had better have been planned" I said, getting very angry. Terry smiled and said "Relax, it was." Nora then came backstage and said "I'm okay, relax". As soon as Rhyno left the "gorilla" position, Matt, Jeff and Amy came in.
"Haven't seen you three all night, where have you been?" I asked
"We got the night off because of last night." Jeff replied as he sat next to Andrea and Staci. "You ready for tonight?" He asked.
"Hell, yeah, Mark and Glenn are really cool, I can't wait to start working with them." Andrea said.
"Oh, look Satan himself." I said to Vince McMahon as he came through the door, he simply laughed, Steve Austin followed close behind him.
We all watched Vince's promo, then "Stone cold" came out and was presented the WWF Title. When he took the title I took off to find Dwayne, we had a promo to do soon.
Stonecold went off on the fans saying he never wanted to be their hero.
The promo ended and The Rock and I were shown watching, Rock and I looked at each other, said nothing and left the room.
When I made it back to the gorilla position, all of my classmates were there, all 10 of them. The RTC, Kane and Undertaker were there too, Andrea was talking to all of them, I just sat down and waited.
Val Venis vs. Kane – WWF Hardcore Title
Kane dominated the match, even with interference from Steven Richards, Kane won the match, but afterwards, Bull and Goodfather joined in on attacking Kane, Ashley soon followed. Undertaker and Andrea hit the ring as soon as Ashley did; Andrea took out Ashley, and then went to work on Val.
Undertaker had Goodfather by the throat, Kane had Bull and Andrea had Val, all three executed a triple chokeslam. Paul Heyman was heard saying, "Now, they've added a sister to this destructive family."
Andrea came backstage with "the brothers" Staci came up to her, hugged her and laughed, we then watched Triple H confront William Regal and Vince McMahon. I then piped up "Who is coming to Oklahoma City tomorrow?" Staci, Nicole and the Nelsons raised their hands. "Ok, let's go see Stephanie"
After a few minutes I returned to the gorilla position, where David and Leah were waiting for me, "Brandon, we're going back to the hotel." David said
"Why?" I replied
"Do you think that we want to see you get your butt kicked?" Leah said with a smile.
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I guess I'll see you next Wednesday." David and Leah then left the building. As soon as they left Dwayne came in, we had a promo to do, but Dwayne did all the talking, I just stood there looking intense. We met Steve on the way back to the gorilla position, both opponents went out to the arena, the cage match had begun.
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock – WWF Title – Cage Match
I didn't pay much attention to the match until near the end. Vince got involved and attacked the ref, I bolted down to the ring and entered the cage, and The Rock closed the door and locked it. Stonecold low-blowed me, then went to work on the Rock, Vince stomped on me, then Triple H came out, then hit me with the sledge hammer, which cut me open, I then got a pedigree and a stunner, Raw ended right there.
