The Main Event
Mon. 04/09/01 – Set of Boston Public – Hollywood, CA – 3:30 pm
On Saturday I was called by a casting director from the show " Boston Public" they wanted me to do an episode of the show. I called Vince, he agreed and said he was sending a camera crew on Tuesday; I was shooting a promo for Smackdown.
The first day I was kinda busy, but I did see Raw.
Vince cut a promo saying that he made the title match in the heat of the moment, that I was suspended and the title match was not going to happen.
After that promo, five people from the cast joined me, Fyuvish Finkel, Nicky Katt, Jessalin Gilsig, Chi McBride and Sharon Leal.
I then turned my attention back to Raw, Kurt Angle came out and challenged a champion….Kane came out to take him up on it, they fought for a while, then Andrea and The Undertaker came out and beat Kurt down, Big Show then joined the fray, he then got pinned. After the match Kane, Undertaker and Andrea excecuted the triple chokeslam on Big Show, the crowd popped loudly.
The next match was Ashley vs. Chyna for the Women's Title, even with the help of Steven Richards and Ivory, Ashley lost when Chyna gave her a DDT, then pinned her.
After the match a promo was shot involving the Big Show, he challenged the Undertaker for later that night.
Vince, Stonecold and Jim Ross did a promo recapping the attack from Smackdown; it was boring so the cast and I started chatting. Nothing much happened for the next hour, the next exciting thing was when The Undertaker and Andrea did a promo with Andrea having boxing punching bags on her hands and Undertaker punching them, Andrea was yelling "Hit Harder".
Undertaker vs. Big Show
Andrea and Undertaker came out on 'taker's bike, she was managing tonight. Undertaker won the match with a powerbomb.
Amy then called me up and asked if I was coming to Sanford, NC on Saturday for her birthday. "Yeah, sure, providing, we're done by then." I replied. "Ok' she said, then hung up.
Hardys and Lita vs. Stonecold, Triple H and Stephanie
The Hardys won this match but Stonecold and Triple H mercilessly pummeled the Hardys with chairs. Amy and the others looked legitimately hurt. Amy called me an hour later and told me that she was all right; it was an angle to give her time off for her birthday, which was Saturday.
"Amy, can I bring the people from Sacramento that you met in Hawaii?" I asked. She said "yes". "I heard from outside my trailer "Everyone on the set". I told Amy I had to go.
Tue. 04/10/01 – Philadelphia, PA – Smackdown Taping – 7:30 pm
Our shooting was way ahead of schedule; if we kept up this pace we would be done in time for me to make Amy's party in Sanford. The Smackdown crew arrived at 7:45.
The cameraman told me what had happened with Jeff and Stephanie, and since Vince told me to improvise, that's what I did. There was a small break in shooting so the cast was behind me when I did the promo:
"What I saw on Monday, I didn't like. Vince, how dare you do what you did to my sister, but for some reason, I'm not mad, and since I have made it a game out of outthinking, and outplaying you Triple H, I guess I'll have to do it again, your day will come, and it will come soon. Stephanie, you got exactly what you deserved from Jeff Hardy, because if it had been me, I would have made sure I snapped your neck in two before I left…" Nicky laughed "…Vince, Stonecold, Triple H, you're all dead, you just don't know it yet, See ya Monday."
The rest of Smackdown went like this:
Chyna vs. Ivory – WWF Women's Title
Steven Richards and Ashley were at ringside during this match, Steven clotheslined Chyna, Ashley hit Chyna with a DDT, but even with all that interference, Chyna won, she then DDT'ed Steven and Ashley after the match.
My promo aired after the 4 on 2 with Regal, Edge, Christian and Kurt Angle vs. Benoit and Jericho.
Jeff Hardy then did a promo hyping his match with Triple H.
Ashley and the RTC did a promo trying to recruit Test, but it led to a match between Test and Val Venis.
Big Show then found his partners for the handicapped match, Kaientai.
Big Show and Kaientai vs. Undertaker, Kane and Andrea
As usual Kane came out first, they were dominant in this match, mainly because Big Show never tagged in. The three won the match. Afterwards, Undertaker signaled to Kane to put Taka in the "Last Ride" but messed it up. 'Taker showed him how to do it, by demonstrating on Funaki, Kane tried again, and again messed up. Andrea then grabbed Funaki and showed Kane the Last Ride, she did it perfectly, Kane grabbed Taka and did it again, and this time he got it right.
Test vs. Val Venis
All of RTC came out with Val, Steven missed his superkick and hit Val. Test won. The RTC attacked each other, including Ashley pounding on Ivory.
Jeff won the IC title later in the night.
Sat. 04/14/01 – Sanford, NC – 3:30 pm
We wrapped shooting on Boston Public on Friday, so Ashley, Andrea and I flew out to Sanford for Amy's birthday, there were about a hundred people there, most of them WCW and WWF wrestlers. I did however attend a couple of hours of school on Friday, and made arrangements to bring some classmates to Raw on Monday.
