That night
Melissa and I are walking down the beach talking.
"So what are you doing after the tour ends?" I asked her.
"Well, we have to make up the rest of the dates on the tour, the ones me missed because of the terrorist attack, but after that, I guess its back into the studio to record the next album." She said as I slid my arm around her and pulled her close.
"Are you going to watch the wrestling event tomorrow?" I asked.
"Maybe, I'll catch as much of it as I can with us performing…"
I cut her off "…just so you know, I'm in the last match, but Andrea however is somewhere in the middle." "Who's Andrea fighting?" She asked.
We opened the door of the beach house and went inside "It's complicated to explain, it's called the Hardcore, Light Heavyweight Invitational, ten people, two titles, ten minutes, who ever has the titles at the end of the ten minutes is the champion, and Andrea is the only female in the match." I said.
I looked over at the couch in the living room, Andrea was there watching us with a smile on her face, she held up the Light Heavyweight Title and said "I'm also one of the champions."
I looked over at Jason and Sheridan and said
"You got the hook up?"
"Yeah, don't worry about it, your girl will see you in action, the whole dressing room area is wired to pick up your event."
"EVERYONE READY" I yelled. Matt, Jeff, Amy, Andrea and Scott grabbed their bags and headed to their cars, I kissed Melissa goodbye and grabbed my helmet and headed for my motorcycle. Jason stood up and said
"The pilot said the plane will land in Pittsburgh at Midnight local time, he'll then fly back here, so you'll have to catch commercial flights to where ever you have to go on Wednesday."
Twenty minutes later.
I arrived at the airport before anyone else and loaded my motorcycle into the plane.
"I hear you have met a girl." I turned and saw the pilot, a guy I've known as long as I've known Jason, Damien Daniels.
"Oh yeah, she is incredible." The cars with the wrestlers then pulled up. I turned back to Damien and said
"Talk to ya later." He shook his head 'yes' and helped the others load their bags into the plane, we took off fifteen minutes later.
"Melissa seems nice." Amy said
"Yeah, I think it's love." I said
"No pressure but she'll be watching." Amy replied smiling.
I sat back in my chair and sighed
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Didn't Sheridan tell you, our martial arts teacher is dying." I replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I hope he recovers." She said. I sat back and made the rest of the trip in silence.
NICOLE
The next afternoon
The pre-show for Unforgiven has already begun and they are hyping Brandon's triple threat match and Andrea's dual titles match. Jason did a good job hooking up the TV's, I'm here in Eve's dressing room, she is on stage rehearsing.
"One match everyone is looking forward to is the Hardcore, Light Heavyweight Invitational. The WWF Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam, the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Andrea Dawson, the Hardy Boys, Tajiri, X-pac, Hurricane Helms, Kidman, Lance Storm and Justin Credible will all be in this ten minute hardcore rules match with both titles on the line." Stated Jonathan Coachman.
At that moment Sheridan walked in and sat next to me.
"You feelin' all right?" she asked.
"I'm cool, I'll be fine." I said.
"You ready to get back into the ring?"
"I should be soon, I'm heading to Trax in Stamford, CT on Wednesday." I replied as a video package concerning Brandon's match came on:
Ice sped on to a bridge where Stonecold was chained up and Angle threatening to throw him over.
"Kurt, don't do it, you will regret it for the rest of your life." Ice yelled. Ice was the whispering into Kurt's ear, and Kurt making the challenge for Unforgiven, a triple threat match, Kurt Angle vs. Stone cold vs. Ice.
Melissa and Diana then walked in.
"I wonder what Brandon's surprise was?" Diana said.
"What surprise?" I asked.
Melissa spoke up "Brandon said he had a surprise for us in the coming week but he didn't say what it was."
Eve then came in and asked
"You doin' ok Nicole?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said.
"It begins" Sheridan said.
"I'll go see if anyone else is watching." I said and got up and left the room.
I walked over to Destiny's Child's dressing room.
"It's starting." I said as Michelle let me in. Kelly looked at the TV with great interest, her man Raven was in a match with Perry Saturn, the opening match.
