Amy, Shane,
Trish, Jeff and Matt watched in excitement as Shannon wrestled
Randy Orton from a television screen. The two newcomers had been
going at it for almost ten minutes and everyone else that had
been watching was thoroughly impressed. They had already planned
to give him a standing ovation, three minutes into the match. You
could tell that both Shannon and Randy had extremely bright
futures and that they planned to make an impact on the wrestling
business. The crowd gasped and appualded afterwards as Shannon
did a combination of a Hurricanrana and 450 Splash. He quickly
pinned Randy's shoulders and got the three count.
"Man, they need to be on TV! Both of them, forget this dark
match stuff." Shane said, as they all made their way to the
Titan Tron area to congratulate their friend.
Obviously, the feeling was mutual among their co-workers since
others began to follow them, each coming out of various locker
rooms. A crowd gathered backstage as everyone waited. Shannon and
Randy walked through the curtain and smiled as everybody clapped
for them on a job well done. Randy was used to getting praise
ocassionally on his matches from the WWF Superstars but not
Shannon. The feeling in him right now was indescribable and he
was so overwhelmed everything that had happened to him today. It
was definitely one of the best feelings he had ever experienced
in quite some time.
"Thank you so much, guys. I don't know what to say. I'm
speechless, I really am." Shannon said, putting his arm
around Randy.
"I am too. Thanks for the encouragement, it means a
lot...especially with us not being as huge and respected as you
guys are in the business." Randy replied.
"You act like you've won an Oscar or something, man."
Jeff said before everyone laughed.
"Well, it certainly feels that way." Shannon shook
hands with Randy one last time as everyone scattered back off to
what they were doing before they got caught up in the match.
"We're proud of you, dude. You have made a good first
impression. If your match with Jamie Knoble is as good or better
than tonight's, you'll be under those bright lights in no
time." Matt complimented.
"Hey, where's Trish? I thought she would be with you."
Shannon asked Matt as he grabbed a water bottle from a cooler
that was filled with them and began to drink it.
"I don't know where she is. What you need her for?"
"Oh, I was just wondering. Let me call Crystal and tell her
how the match went. I'll see you guys in like five minutes."
Shannon walked off to the remote locker room where his stuff was.
He had no idea how it had gotten there. Now that his match had
gotten out of the way, what he had previously been contemplating
was right back on his mind again. His sudden problems with his
fiancee and his confrontation with Trish. Whenever she was
around, he was turned on regardless of if she was talking to him
or not. She was a mystery and that's what drove him wild. He
couldn't figure her out and that's what made him attracted to
her. He had never met her before or had been in her presence and
it seemed that he would be in the WWF for a long time. That's why
he needed to address this problem because he didn't want to mess
up his relationship with Crystal anymore. He grabbed his cell
phone and dialed her number. He hoped that she would be willing
to listen to him.
"What the hell do you want?" Crystal answered.
"Crystal, look, I'm sorry. We just let our anger get the
best of us earlier. Can we just put that behind us for now? I
wanna tell you about my match. The crowd loved it, everyone
backstage loved it and I loved it too."
"I'm very happy for you." Crystal replied, sounding
like she could careless.
"You certainly don't sound like it. Man, what's wrong with
you? This is one of the best days of my life and you're the only
thing that's preventing it from being perfect."
"Oh, come off it, Shannon! I'm sitting here missing you so
much and listening to you talk right now, it seems like you don't
miss me. That hurts. I don't know if it's true or not but it
shouldn't even be a possibility, as far as you missing me."
"How can you throw all these accusations towards me when you
don't even know the truth? You have to hear my side of the story.
You are being so selfish right now. You don't even seem like the
same person anymore and that's what really hurts. I'll call you
again whenever I feel like it." Shannon hung up on Crystal
and turned off his cell phone so she wouldn't be able to call him
back. He looked up and saw Trish standing right there.
"Ouch. Having some trouble with your girl?"
"Yeah, that's one way to put it." Shannon replied,
running his fingers through his hair, looking at the ground so
that he wouldn't have to look at Trish. He knew the effect she
had on him.
"Actually, I came in here to congratulate you on a great
match. Jazz and I were watching in the back."
"Well, thank you. I appreciate that, it makes me feel a
little better."
"Are you gonna be okay?" Trish sat down next to Shannon
and put her arm around him. It looked like Crystal was really
hurting him and even though she didn't know Shannon that well,
she didn't like to see him like that.
Shannon felt real weak and pleased, with Trish being so close to
him. The fact that she was concerned about him made Shannon feel
very special. He couldn't see one bad thing about her. She was
beautiful, her body was the epitome of sexy and her personality
was real. She smelled so good and Shannon could feel her breasts
on the side of his chest. He couldn't understand why he felt so
strongly about her. His conscience had two sides, one berated him
for feeling the way he did. That was because he already had
Crystal and Trish had Matt. The other side told him to kiss Trish
which would release all the feelings that were building up inside
of him. Matt was a brother to Shannon and he had contributed so
much to making him the wrestler he was today. The last thing he
wanted to was turn his back on him by kissing his girlfriend.
Shannon was the only one who could make the decision as far as
allowing love lead the way.
His relationship with Crystal was horrible right now and he
wasn't ready to sacrifice his new standing with the WWF for her.
Therefore, he realized that his problems wouldn't get any better.
He didn't see how anyone could find out about him kissing Trish
since no one was around. Shannon took a deep breath, forgeting to
respond to Trish's question, grabbed her by the neck and brought
her lips to his. At that moment, Trish wanted to push Shannon
away but that was when his moist tongue seeked refuge in her
mouth. The satisfaction that his tongue gave could not be ignored
by Trish since it was surprisingly driving her wild with desire,
she just lived for the moment and continued to kiss him.
Unfortunate for them both, they did not see Matt watching their
every move from the hallway through the window on the locker room
door.
