Sighing, Matt
Hardy drifted up through the haze of sleep he was in for the past
eight hours to flutter his eyes open. For a moment, he wondered
where he was before he realized he was in a hotel room. He looked
over to his cell phone, hearing it ring. A smile appeared across
his pink lips, noticing the number on the caller ID. He put the
phone to his ear, ready to hear the voice that he loved.
"Good morning, sunshine." Matt mummured.
"Hey sweetie. I thought you would still be sleeping. Did I
wake you?" Trish Stratus replied softly.
"Nah, I just woke up actually. What's up?" Matt asked,
sitting up in the bed.
"I just wanted to know if you and Jeff were going to Trash
& Vaudeville with me and Amy. I feel like spending
money." Trish said, chuckling.
"Yeah, we were planning on checking it out. Jeff went to a
club last night with Jimmy Webb, he works there. We promised to
buy something before we left New York."
"I hope Jimmy had no intentions of changing Jeff's sexual
preference." Trish said before Matt laughed.
"He probably thinks Jeff is hot but I think he knows Jeff is
taken for the moment. Beth ain't having that."
"What about Jeff?" Matt looked at his brother after
hearing his voice who was lying the other bed.
"When did you wake up, man?"
"That damn cell phone of yours. Who are you talking to
anyway?" Jeff asked, yawning as he slowly got out of the
bed, wearing nothing put a pair of purple boxers.
"Trish. Man, you stink. Were you drinking? The answer better
be no." Matt said, the big brother side of him coming out.
"No, you know I don't drink. Jimmy and his crew were the
ones drinking. The smell got on me, dude. Tell Trish I said
hi." Jeff replied, defending himself, not wanting to sit
through a lecture of the effects of alcohol that Matt gave him
when he was in the 11th grade.
"Just go take a shower. We're going to Trash and Vaudeville
with Amy and Trish."
"Okay, I'll be ready in a few." Jeff replied, taking
his suit case into the bathroom.
"Alright, Trish, I'm sorry. What time do you wanna
leave?"
"How does a hour sound?" Trish responded.
"A hour and a half?"
"Deal. I'll see you in a few."
"Yeah, see you later."
Matt had been with Trish for about two months. Sometimes, he
couldn't believe he was with her but it wasn't like he was
complaining either. So far, everything was good but he knew he
had to learn about her. That would definitely help their
relationship in the long run.

Jeff, Amy, Shane and Matt almost always travel together. wth
Matt's new relationship with Trish, she began to travel with the
four North Carolina residents. The five WWF Superstars drove
whenever possible. They preferred the freedom of the road to the
schedules of air travel. Shane decided to ride with Edge so they
decided to rent a minivan.
"Matt tells me you went out with some gay guy last night.
You have fun?" Trish asked, who was driving the minivan to
the Trash & Vaudeville.
"It was cool, an interesting experience. I enjoyed
myself."
"Did he flirt with you?" Amy asked, a smile on her
face.
"Hell yeah. He told me I was very sexy and wouldn't mind
sleeping with me." Jeff smiled, remembering the previous
night while everyone laughed.
"A lot of people would love to sleep with you, Jeff."
Amy replied.
"Well, I flirted back with him just to play with his mind. I
was trying so hard to hold back my laughter. It was crazy, man,
but I really broke his heart when I told him about Beth."
Everyone laughed harder than before.
"I hope he's okay. I'll have to ask him about his side of
the story." Amy said as Trish pulled into the famous store.
She parked the car before they all got out and walked into the
store. Matt and Trish were hand in hand while Jeff and Amy
chatted about the business. Matt, Jeff and Amy had been here
before so not much had changed but Trish couldn't believe her
eyes. She looked at the funky store. Everything she saw was
outlandish, wild, unique, unusual and far from the clothing
styles in her closet.
"I'll buy you one thing." Matt said, noticing a few
clothes that were catching her eye.
"Oh, I'll definitely but more than one thing. So where are
the shoes?"
"Jeff!" Jimmy 'The Specialist' Webb appeared and
welcomed everyone to look around.
"Hey, man. How are you?" Jeff shook his hand.
"Still kind of tired from last night actually. I hope you
had as much fun as I did." Jimmy licked his lips, looking at
Jeff, who was wearing a wife beater.
"Yeah, I was just telling everyone about it. You coming to
the show tonight?"
"Of course, we'll be there to support you." Jimmy
replied as he got a little closer to Jeff while he looked the
other way, spotting Trish.
"Oh, yeah...where are my manners? Trish, this is Jimmy.
Jimmy, this is Trish." Jeff introduced the two, walking
behind Trish.
"It's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you."
Trish smiled.
"Oh, really? What have you heard?"
"Jeff told me you said you wouldn't mind sleeping with him."
Trish said, laughing.
"Nah, I wouldn't mind at all. I express what I feel, I
wasn't afraid to say it. Jeff looks like he's very experienced.
But I could still teach him a couple things. Hold up...Matt, is
there something you aren't telling me?" Jimmy aked, noticing
that Matt was holding Trish's hand.
"Oops, my bad. Trish and me are together now." Matt put
his arm around her waist as she smiled.
"For real? That's awesome. I hope you two are very happy
together."
"Yes, we are. Now, where are the shoes?"
***********
The entrance to Trash & Vaudeville opened and out came Matt,
Amy, Jeff and Trish each with tons of shopping bags in their
hands filled to the top with clothing. The four of them spent
more money than they had planned. Then again, they wouldn't have
to update their wadrobe for awhile.
"No more shopping for me." Amy said as she placed
everyone's bags in the rear of the minivan.
"I know right. That's one thing I hate about New York. You
have to spend your money everytime you come here. Matt replied.
"Oh yeah, thank you for the shoes, sweetie. I'll wear them
on our next night out on the town." Trish said, giving him a
kiss.
Everyone got in the car and Trish pulled off, driving to yet
another arena. They would entertain hordes of people. They would
bring smiles to their fans' faces. They would sacrifice their
bodies for the one they all truly loved...wrestling. The silence
in the car was broken by the instant ringing of Jeff's phone.
"Hello."
"Hey, man! It's Shannon!"
"Oh, I didn't recognize your voice. You sound happy,
dude."
"I have reason to be, Jeff. I just got signed to the
WWF!"
