Raw Taping – Monday before No Mercy
"So tonight, I lose the title." I asked Stephanie.
"Yeah, we are pushing Chris Jericho." She replied, then went away to speak to Andrea and Nicole.
Dream was in L.A. working on their album, I talked to their people and they could be at No Mercy on Sunday. I went to the green room and saw Amy there with a guy who I didn’t know, so I went up and introduced myself.
"Hi, I’m Brandon ‘Ice’ Mars." I said as I extended my hand.
"Donnie Gilbert, Amy’s boyfriend." He tried to squeeze my hand until it hurt, but being a martial artist, it was his hand that wound up getting hurt, as Andrea, Stephanie and Nicole came in.
"Who is the guy?" Andrea asked.
"Donnie Gilbert, Amy’s new boyfriend…"I paused "…I don’t like him."
"You won’t believe the storyline Stephanie has planned for after No Mercy." Andrea replied.
"What?" I asked.
"No, no, you refuse to fill us in on your storylines, so we will do the same thing." Andrea said as she and Nicole started laughing. I walked off to find Stone Cold, we had a few things to discuss.
Stone Cold entered the Alliance locker room steaming mad. He started shouting
"That little punk Ice has embarrassed me for the last time, he attacked Stone Cold Steve Austin in a cage and now that little punk has to pay, what? I said he has to pay. So Stone Cold Steve Austin is laying down the law, Ice will face the WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin inside of a steel cage at No Mercy. If that little punk wants a piece of Stone Cold Steve Austin, he’s got it." Stone cold said as he stormed out of the room leaving the Alliance cheering.
Ice was watching this the entire time in Commissioner Mick Foley’s office, they were both laughing.
"See that Mick, the idiot agreed to it, so it’s on now, Ice and Stone Cold?" Ice asked
"It’s on Ice, you, Stone Cold and RVD, you cool with that?" Mick said
"Oh yeah" Ice replied.
"Oh, yeah provided he agrees to it, it’s a triple threat cage match." Mick said.
"No problem, as long as I get Stone Cold." Ice said as he left the room.
NICOLE
"Only six days away until my debut. "I said as I leaned back into Jeff’s arms.
"Do you think I should let Brandon in on the fact that I’m feuding with Andrea?" I asked.
"It’s your call." Jeff said as Matt, Amy and Donnie walked in. Donnie scowled at everyone in the room, which scared me beyond belief.
Donnie stood 6’3", he was muscular like Jeff, he had short, bleached blonde hair, he usually wore a ‘wifebeater’ shirt and was always mad. I was definitely afraid of him. I could not hear what Matt and Amy were saying, but Donnie stood close watch over them, with a very jealous look in his eyes, ‘What is Amy doing with this jerk?’ I thought to myself.
At that moment Brandon came into the room with the WCW Title, "Hey guys, the match at No Mercy is official and the girls are coming." Brandon said with a big grin. He went over and hugged Matt and Amy as Donnie looked at him with anger, Brandon must have noticed it, because he walked out of the room smiling, I’m amazed at his inability to show fear.
"I gotta go talk to Andrea." I said as I got up and left. Andrea was in her dressing room stretching. She had a match against Albert.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah and I’m next too." She said as she grabbed the Light Heavyweight Title and walked out.
I walked with her toward the entryway, we passed Amy’s dressing room and we heard a lot of screaming, it was Amy and Donnie, Donnie was doing most of the screaming, Amy was in tears apologizing. I heard her yell "I’m sorry." But Donnie was still yelling at her, he threw some thing and it broke against the wall.
"Should we do something?" I asked.
"We’d be no match for Donnie." Andrea said and we continued to the ring.
Albert came out to X-Factor’s music, Andrea attacked him from behind and she unloaded on him, she then threw him into the ring. Andrea went to the top and nailed a missile dropkick. The match went back and forth between them until X-Pac came out, followed by Billy Kidman, Kidman attacked X-Pac.
"Why is Kidman, the WCW Cruiserweight Champion out here, is he here to help Andrea?" JR asked.
"Maybe…" Paul Heyman said "…or maybe Kidman is the cassanova of the Alliance and Andrea has fallen for his charms."
"I doubt that Paul, Andrea is a classy young woman, she would never be with a guy like Kidman." JR said back.
Andrea won the match by DQ when X-Pac finally got in the ring and nailed a spin kick on her. Andrea and X-Pac went at it until they were pulled apart by the other wrestlers.
Andrea came backstage with her title.
She came straight to me and asked "What happened?"
"They kept
up the yelling for a while, then Donnie opened the door and said
to her ‘I’ll be at the hotel’ and left." I
replied. It might just be a lovers quarrel, nothing to be
concerned about." Andrea said, then went to her dressing
room.
