The Pit
"Dude, check out Cecilia." I said as we watched her lead the Womynists away from the house. "Way to go girl" Drozi yelled. "Hang on" I said to Melissa as Drozi maneuvered the car and crashed into a stone flower pot outside of the house, the bar rolled nicely up next to the car.
The Daves rolled the kegs into the house while I helped Drozi move the bar inside. The Daves grabbed the bar from us and moved it inside. "Hey Drozi..." Mullaney said "...what are we gonna do when we don't pull this off?" "Ummmm, bake sale." Drozi replied sarcastically, Melissa and I laughed. Melissa then went over to join Ashley, Diana and Holly. "What's up Drozi, what's up Mulls?" Gutter said as he re-entered the house. "You screwed up big time Gutter." Drozi said.
I turned and saw Melissa talking with her band mates, the girls screamed when they saw the ring. "The store was closed." Gutter said. "I put my trust in you to handle the beer and you violated that trust." Drozi said.
"So Gutter, where is it?" A man asked, my jaw hit the floor when I saw Aaron Lewis of Staind.
"Listen Drozi, don't charge these guys their just here to use the bathroom." Gutter said. Mulls, Drozi and I were all stunned as Staind was using our bathroom. "Gutter, you are a legend." Drozi said.
I rushed to Melissa and swept her off her feet and carried her in my arms. "Staind is here." I said. "What?" Melissa asked. "Staind, as in the guys who sing 'It's Been A While' Staind, are here right now." I said as I kissed Melissa, she held on to me and smiled.
I put her down and rushed back over to Drozi who now was talking to Aaron Lewis. "We couldn't help noticing that you're Aaron Lewis, we've got a problem. The university has been slapping us with a seven grand damage bill, so what we're going to do, we're going to throw an all campus rocker, problem, no band." Drozi said. "What are you trying to ask?" Aaron asked. "We were hoping you could play our party." Drozi said bluntly. "No one can make a face that ugly and not be serious, we'll do it." Aaron said, we all cheered.
I went back to Melissa "They're going to play the party." I said, she jumped into my arms and we hugged. Matt, Jeff, Eric, Holly, Ashley and Diana all stood there looking at me. "What did you just say?" Matt Hardy asked. "I said, Staind is going to play the party here." Jeff still looked at me stunned. "What is it Hardy?" I asked. "So I hear you are engaged now." Jeff Hardy replied. I looked Melissa right tin the eyes and said "Yes I am" Melissa and I kissed.
"Dude, can you help with the kegs?" Dave Daniels asked. "We'll do it" Matt said. Matt and Jeff went over and lifted both kegs on to the table. I looked around the room, Staind was setting up on the stage and Drozi and Gutter were dragging Raji and Deej out of the way. "This is going to be one hell of a night" I said.

"We're here" Katie says. We both bang on the window overlooking the main room. Drozi sees us and points to the front door. We rush toward the door as the mob approaches.
Drozi opens the door in time, Katie and I rush in but Drozi grabs Tom. I stay behind listening behind the other door. Mullaney approaches and asks "What's going on?" "We found the 2,000 people" I said.
The mob briefly quieted down as Drozi spoke up. "Now I see you've all met Tom" "Yeah, I've met Tom' One of the computer people replied. "He snagged out disk." One hippie replied. "I know he did and he's going to pay for it too...." Drozi turned to us "...Mulls, take him down stairs and beat the crap out of him"
"Sorry dude" Mulls said as he pulled Tom in and walked him out of sight of the doorway...then let him go. "Justice has been served everyone, you can go home now." Drozi said, the crowd roared in disapproval.
"Wait, what am I saying, if you're not doing anything, we've got Staind inside, they're tuning up on the main stage." Drozi said. "Sounds like another one of the white man's lies to me..." One of the radical blacks said. Staind played a few bars of "Fade" "...or maybe not. let's check it out."
"Wait a minute, what about us?" One guy said, then a girl started yelling. "Yeah, that dork tripped over the main plug and lost all our thesis." "Ok, that's no problem, you guys follow me, the rest of you, it's $5 ahead and the line forms to the left." Drozi said as Mullaney re-appeared in the doorway.
Drozi, the group and I walked down the hallway and downstairs to Drozi's bedroom, he threw open his closet. "What's your major?" He asked the girl who yelled outside "Particle Physics." She replied. Drozi flipped through his pile of folders and pulled one out. "Motion of helium atoms in an excited stage, watch out it's a scorcher." Drozi said, she left smiling. "Next" Drozi said "Sanskrit" A guy said. "Sanskrit, you are majoring in a 5,000 year old dead language." Drozi asked. The guy nodded.
Drozi flipped through the pile "Latin, its the best I can do." The guy shrugged and walked out. A jock then stepped up to Drozi. "You" Drozi said "Phys Ed" He said. "Phys Ed, ok, seriously out of my room." The guy walked away disappointed, I stopped him at the door. "Five bucks if you are staying to party." I said. He handed me the money and walked out. I followed him and stopped at Mullaney at the door. I gave him the money. "This party is really coming together" I said "Yep" He said.
