15 Minutes Later
"Hello Cal. State University..." Gutter said "...this is Staind." The crowd erupted in cheers. I grabbed a cup of beer that someone had left and threw it on Raji and Deej, they stirred as Staind played the opening bars of 'Mudshovel'
"Raji, Deej, wake up, we've got company." I said as they got up. They looked at the stage, saw Staind and said "All right" I smiled.
"You take away......I feel the same...." Staind started rocking and so did the house, people were loving the concert that they put on. I made my way through the crowd, past my future bride who was dancing with her band mates, and made my way to the front door.
Mullaney was still letting people in. "Hey Mulls, what's doing?" I asked. "We've got about $2,000 here, plus I got Cecilia on the other door." Mulls replied. "What other door?" I asked. "The bathroom, we're charging to get in there too." He replied. "Smart" I said as I went back in.
I walked in and passed the bathroom. "Gutter, take the can will ya, $2 to stand, $4 to sit." Cecilia said as she handed Gutter the roll of toilet paper and ran off. I smiled and went back in to the main room.
"You can't feel my anger....you can't feel my pain.....you can't feel my torment....driving me insane....I can't fight these feelings.....they bring only pain....you will take away....make me whole again....Mudshovel." Aaron Lewis and Staind had the place rockin' and this was only the first song.
I joined up with Melissa, who was still dancing with her band mates and Eric, who had Holly all over him. I wrapped my arms around Melissa's waist and we continued to dance as 'Mudshovel' continued.
"I hear you proposed to her." Ashley said, yelling over the music. We moved out into the hallway. "Yep, I proposed..." I said as I lifted up her hand "...check the ring." "OOOOOOHHHH" Holly, Diana, Ashley and Eric replied.
"Have you set a date?" Diana asked. "Well, its definitely going to be after Melissa turns 18, but other then that, no." I said after I kissed her. "Wow, first one to get engaged." Holly said as Eric and I hi-fived.
"By the way..." Eric said "...Jason called, we can go back to the manor anytime." "So he knows where we are?' I asked "Yeah, he just said no drinking." Eric replied. "No problem there" I said.
Nicole leaned her head out of the door into the hallway. "Hey, you guys, party is in here." Nicole said. "Just confirming my engagement" I said. "What engagement?" Nicole asked. Melissa showed off her ring. "Wow" Nicole replied as we all re-joined the party.

I walked back into the party where Staind was now blasting out 'Fade'. I watched an interesting scene play out in front of me.
"Hey do y'all want a brew?" A jock asked a womynist. "Pack up your rape culture and take a hike" She replied. Another womynist whispered to her. "Yes, we would like a beer." The second wonynist replied. "Cool" The jock replied and went toward the bar.
The first one said to the second one "So, if you are nice to them, they bring you things." I stepped in. "You two have a lot to learn about men"
The crowd then parted and I saw Jeff Hardy. We approached each other and kissed. "I love you Nicole." Jeff said.
"I just needed someone to talk to....you were just too busy with yourself.....you were never there for me....to express how I felt.... I just stuffed it down....now I'm older and I feel like.....I could let some of this anger fade......but it seems the surface I am crashing......is the bed that I have made." Aaron Lewis bellowed.
Jeff and I danced together as they blasted out the song. "This is cool' Jeff said "I've got some even better news..." I said "What?" Jeff replied over the song. "....I said I've got some good news." "What is it?" Jeff asked. "Brandon and Melissa got engaged." I said. "I know" Jeff replied.
Jeff grabbed me and we both jumped into the mosh pit, we got thrown around the pit area for a good long while, during this time I noticed two things. Pigman, the midget, was crowd surfing and Katie and Tom were making out in a corner.
Matt Hardy then came into the mosh pit. "I just heard Brandon got engaged." Matt yelled. "Yeah, he just proposed, like an hour ago." I yelled.
I pointed out Brandon and Melissa to Matt, they were in their own little world. "Now it's a party." Matt said. I laughed.
