"Ok, we're going to slow the mood down now..." I said as I composed myself on stage "...this song is by Led Zeppelin and its called Thank You. Melissa, this one is for you." I turned to Eric and whispered "You know how to play this right?" "Of course I do" He said slyly.
I turned back to the mic and Eric started on the guitar. "If the sun refused to shine....I would still be loving you....When the mountains crumble to the sea....There will still be you and me." I turned to Eric and smiled, he smiled back. Eric then started on a duet.
"...Kind woman I give you my all....kind woman nothing more....little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of love lost in the days gone by....my love is strong...with you there is no wrong...together we shall go until we die.....inspiration is what you are to me....inspiration, look, see."
Eric then started a solo while Melissa came up to the stage and we shared a kiss. "I love you" She whispered, I then started in on the song again. "And so today...my world it smiles...your hand in mine...." I reached out and Melissa took my hand and I brought her up on stage and continued singing to her
"...we walk the miles....thanks to you it will be done...for you to me are the only one..." I paused, then began again "...happiness...no more be sad....happiness...I'm glad." Eric then started again on another solo, then I began again "...If the sun refused to shine...I would still be loving you...When the mountains crumble to the sea...there will still be you and me...you and me...you and me." I then kissed Melissa, once we were done I said "Thank you everyone, good night and good luck tomorrow."
I picked up Melissa and carried her off stage and upstairs to her room. "That was a beautiful song." Melissa said as I put her on her bed. I kissed her on the lips and said "Good night." I then left the room and went down to the basement.
The basement looked like a college fraternity house after three keggers. There was graffiti, empty bottles and garbage everywhere, Jason soon joined me down there. "When was the last time we cleaned this dump?" I asked. "Never, not since the monster party we had here in '98." Jason replied. "Here's our room." Jason said pointing to a door with a skull and crossbones spray painted on it. I immediately fell on my bed and went to sleep.
The next day...
I came up from the basement and ran right into Melissa. "I'm in the first race." She replied. "How can you be this perky this early in the morning?" I asked. Melissa started laughing. "We might be in the finals together, because I am in the second race." I said as I kissed her, she then grabbed her board and went out.

"Hey, where is Andrea?" Andrew asked me as he was getting ready for his race. "Andrea and Kyle went home, they were both eliminated so they saw no reason to stay." I replied. Andrew kissed me and went out, I then turned to the big screen.

"This is the first of two finals matches today, these races will determine who moves on to the finals later today. In lane 1 former WWF Intercontinental champion, Andrew "Test" Martin, in lane 2 last year's champion 31 year old Diana Sheridan-Wolfe, in lane 3 a member of Destiny's Child Beyonce Knowles, in lane 4 one of the two members of Dream to make it this far Melissa Schuman, in lane 5 the second member of Destiny's Child Michelle Williams, in lane 6 a member of the Tulalip Indian Tribe Sky Warrior, in lane 7 the husband of Lisa Sheridan-Black, Frank Black, and in lane 8 the 1995 king of the mountain winner Christina Sheridan-Hartman." The announcer said.

"Star studded race."Ashley Poole said as she sat next to me. "Yep, my man is out there, I hope he doesn't get taken out, falling is very easy to do on this course." I replied as the race started.
The racers quickly left Melissa in the dust, Test stayed toward the middle of the pack, everything was going smoothly until the Sheridan sisters collided with each other, Melissa got taken out when she tripped over them, they all helped each other up but it was too late, the race was over.
The four that advanced were Michelle Williams, Sky Warrior, Beyonce Knowles and Frank Black, Test and Frank came in at almost the same time, Test was just a fraction of a second behind.
Melissa came in, she and Brandon embraced. I saw Amy glaring at them from upstairs, I then went over to Brandon and pulled him aside. "Brandon, you have to settle this thing with Amy." I said "Why?" He replied. "Brandon, she is still your friend. Just tell her that you can't be with her because you love Melissa but you still want to be friends with her." I said. Brandon sighed and walked off, he looked back at me and said "I'll settle this before the tournament is over."
Andrew then came in, I went up to him and we kissed. "You tried." I said. Andrew pointed behind me and I turned and saw Melissa, Amy and Brandon talking. "He works fast." I replied.
"This can't go on. Amy, you are one of my best friends. Melissa, I've loved you since I met you. I can't have my friends fighting like this." Brandon said. Amy sighed and said "He's right Melissa, we can't be fighting like this. I'm sorry." I leaned into Andrew "I'm sorry too..." Melissa said "...peace?" Amy smiled. "Peace." They shook hands and smiled
