The death of me was swift
once I’d made up my mind
Old, fragmented memories dwindled
gone rapidly and left behind.

Time has come anew
Re-birth imminent, made possible  by courage
and determination, grew.

Vanished are indignation's, insipidness and faux pas
Entered, assertiveness, desires for giving
and reasons for living.

Then came you, overriding self doubts and has-beens
Taking up residence within my heart
Sight unseen.
I hope you will stay!
