Joseph came to America in 1729 on the ship "Allen". It arrived at Philadelphia on Sept. 11, 1729. His wife, name unknown, died in Germany at birth of youngest son Elias. Joseph and family settled at Frederick County, Maryland and it's been told he died there. (Notes from the records of Patricia Celeste Boone.)
