Just to let you all know, if any of you want to pick up a copy of our old EP New Faces (I'm not sure why you would...), you can order it from the good people at the Kids Skateboards. They only have TWO copies though, so get 'em while they're moderately hot... or something...

Yeah, yeah! We got some cool-guy stickers in! Email us if you want one. OR, you could email us to buy a copy of the new EP (which coincidentally will have the OLD EP on it) and get a sticker along with it for FREE!! OR, you could come to the show, buy a copy of the new EP, and get a free sticker that way. It's a win-win situation!! Really, it is... The show is next Saturday! Don't forget! We're gonna play a LONG set so get ready! If you wanna get an idea of what the track listing for the Pinhole Gaze is gonna look like, check the music page. It's gonna be rad. What's this?! Will our new EP have keyboards and...gasp... a SAXOPHONE??!!! Dun, dun-DUNNNNN!!

I've posted some pictures from our session at Damage Control in Gainesville on the IMAGES page. Check them out. Work continues on finishing the EP. I will let everyone know when it's done (which will most likely be at the Farewell show). So hang tight, you bunch of whippersnappers.

Hello you attractive people. It's time for another update. The Pinhole Gaze is nearly complete. The actual CD is practically done however the artwork is currently being worked on once again by our good friend Ben Tucker and is due for completion by the time our last show rolls around. Which reminds me, our OFFICIAL show date, no changes this time, is scheduled to be held at Thee Imperial located in downtown Jacksonville, FL on Saturday, February 28th 2004. We will be performing with the Desert Fathers. The Desert Fathers features the drummer from The Forms who is an amazing band. Both of these bands were produced by the legendary Steve Albini (Cheap Trick, Nirvana, and more). We are not sure of any other bands playing on this date but we'll keep you posted. In other news, I know some of you have expressed an interest in our acoustic music. Since MP3.com is down however, I will have to find another means of posting our acoustic material online. I will inform all of you when that music is available. Also, be on the lookout for an MP3 of a track from the new EP. I'll do that sometime this week probably. So, all in all, good things to come! We hope to see all of you on the 28th! Smooches.

Hey you beautiful people. Here's an update!! Let's boogey! Okay, first off, the date for the last show will now most likely be sometime in February here in Jacksonville. We'd like to do it at Thee Imperial if possible. I'm currently trying to get a hold of Lisa to set all of that up. As far as other acts to join us, I've just been informed that the lovely Christina Wagner has agreed to play with us! We've been in contact with the Comedy of Error as well. We'll let you know about the bands as soon as we know for sure what's going on. Also, I'm sorry to say that MP3.com has officially gone under. This means that our acoustic music will be temporarily unavailable. I will make arrangements to post our acoustic music online soon. By the way, I've updated the band and images pages. Go check them out! As far as our new cd is concerned, it is still being worked on. Apparently, Chad's computer broke so he sent it off to have it fixed. We'll let you know when it's done and how you can order a copy. Anyways, everybody take it ease. And for you geezers in the guestbook, YER WEIRD!!! Have a nice day.

November.22.2003

Hello again. I'm here with some news. After much talk and debate, we have decided to hold one final show in Gainesville, FL! Our "Farewell and Goodnight" show does not have a confirmed date as of yet, but the tentative date is January 3rd, 2004. We have decided to hold this show in Gainesville so our friends in Tampa and our friends in Jacksonville would have a, somewhat, equal driving length. Gainesville is sort of in the middle of the two areas. I'll let you know about updates for this show as more is confirmed. Until then, check out "Vex" on the music page. I've just added this MP3 on there so go give it a listen! Still no word on the new EP. We are waiting to hear from Damage Control as to when it will be finished. I will keep you all posted as to its completion. That's all in the way of news. I'll see you around.

Hey everyone. This is a reminder to go check out Seth Richter of File K Films (the guy who did Tear Thief's 'Every Fan Boy's Dream' rockumentary) at the corner of 9th and Main in Jacksonville as they will be featuring one of his short films, "No One And Nothing." This will be part of a film festival featuring filmmakers from across the country! The festivities start at 7:00 and will be complete with a full dinner menu as well as beer and popcorn. Please go show your support to a good friend of Tear Thief and a great artist! I'll post up some more details as I receive them.
In other news, everyone, keep your calendars clear for the months of December and January. A Tear Thief farewell show...? Perhaps... Stay tuned!

Hello everyone. I'm here today with some, unfortunately, bad news. On Sunday, Tear Thief officially disbanded. It was a unanimous decision within the band to call it quits. Tensions within the band were rising and things were said. In order to salvage and maintain our friendships we decided that it would be best to go our separate ways, musically. I personally would like to thank everyone who's stuck with us through thick and thin (especially Dan the Hitman, and the Lehmanns) and have always supported us from the beginning. You'll always have a special place in my heart! I will leave this site up for future references and I will try and make news updates as far as what everyone in the band is up to musically. We are still waiting for our new/last EP to be finished. I will let you know when it's done. I will be posting some MP3's from the new CD once it's done, as well. Also, we played a show recently at Thee Imperial. Read the review done by Dan the Hitman at Search Monkeys. Again, thanks to all of our friends, families and fans for all of your support! We couldn't have done it without you! I'll post messages from the other members if they'd like to say something to all of you as well. It'll be on the band page. Thanks again everyone...
