And They Danced On..(The Brood Grows)



And so the brood grew. More confident now than in the beginning, of their powers, the chylder of Tears did bravely begin to seek their fortune in the contingent plane of Ayenee. It was a little known fact that the Castle Crimson was now located on a different material plane (one of eternal darkness) for it was spawned from the deepest depths of Malfeas by her demon lover, the ruler of the fifth layer of Hell, Garthrag. And it could only be spied by higher creatures that had access to powers that afforded them such a glimpse or to mortals in dire need. It floated in a locale just slightly above the pacific waters to the west of Ayenee. Travel to and from it was....quite the ordeal. Regardless, they grew bold with their newfound powers and began turning many to Tears' coven. Even Tears was claiming an entire second genre to command. In all, it is said she claimed a dozen or so to her, many of them later becoming her royal suitors for having been so enamored of their master and their corruptions being so very complete. But alas, they were to find out that it was the decree of Dracon (her master) that Tears was not to marry. Many sought her hand regardless and tried always to court her, but love or not, she could not succumb. It was simply not allowed. Now that there were several women as well males added to her clan, it became quite the gathering place. Of her third genre, her most favored always attended royal court. She now began this tradition to continue bolstering the morale of her chylder and grandchylder. There was even rumour that a 4th genre was soon to be added. And so it went. One of the first to come to her thrall was Kakarot's first chylder, Diana_of_Crimson, whom Tears always has held in high regard (even though she was somewhat malformed, her corruption being incomplete, but she was allowed to live) though it was mandated by Tears that she was not to turn another until her corruption was complete. Then there was Fallen_Angel_of_Crimson, Owen's second chylder whom surprised Tears for it was said that she became impregnated...(it seems that it happened before the turning could be finished). Unfortunately, fate frowned upon the two and the Angel did die before she could conceive, but this was much later. And of course the assassin Crimson_Vixen_Love, Kakarot's second chylder whom he would eventually wed and whom also would drive him to literal madness. Tears' own second genre grew quickly as well, from Sir_Magus_of_Crimson (whom was very secretive about his origins) whom she would never fully understand the truth about him until her return from Malfeas. And of course Ryu_of_da_Brood otherwise known as Tenchi, whom so disturbed her royal court that not long after his turning Tears was forced to put him down. She rained death upon him in the form of Golden_Dragoness_ whom she had fused with (very recently at the time) in order to garner more power for herself. Oddly enough, the dragoness' mate was her own steed Ryuu_Ken_Bakuhatsu, whom later fused with Kakarot to form Saiyajin_Ryuu_Ken. Then there was the brave warrior, Gilthanas_WarriorMage as well as SexGodZeus and even a lord of Chaos himself, Arioch_of_Crimson. It was all so very glorious the way the Crimson Coven seemed to rise overnight into a thriving clan. Tears even hostessed many visitors of prominant note such as Sir_Fist_of_MiddleEarth, Teraen, Sir_Lans_HolyKnight, Barrett_the_Fighter, Jolt_the_BountyHunter...and so many others. All in all, it could be said it was quite a full house. All complete with the pattering of little Hellion's wild laughter echoing down the halls as his tiny feet ran the length and breadth of the castle and his "uncle" Ryuu frustratedly chasing him down. His "auntie" Angel was delegated part of that chore as well by trying to tame his demonic frivolty. And (if truth be told) with all the guests that seemed to ceaselessly flow to and from the castle there was little peace to be had. But one thing was definitely agreed amongst the denizens of the castle, they were all family...brood.
