Problem Statement for Students:
Why is it important to study Monuments of the past and of the present? What can you learn from what the people left behind? What will our own monuments tell the people of the future?
Data Manipulation
-Internet: The students will conduct part of their searches via search engines such as Hotbot, Yahoo, or Ask Jeeves.
-Word: Students will use a word processing program, such as Microsoft Word to create first and final drafts of a 3-4 page report.
-Adobe Photoshop/Microsoft Photo Editor: Students can edit the images they've selected to accompany their papers using these graphic editors.
Presentation
Students will present their findings in a 3-4 page essay, detailing a brief discussion on Megalithic Monuments, using the images collected as examples and supplements. This should be typed, with the images either interspersed with the report, or stapled together in the back. A works cited page must be included with one cited Internet source, and 2 cited, non-Internet sources.
Multidimensional Activities

- Word Processing will be used to create the first draft and the Final Draft of the paper.
- Spell Checking is required.
Activities After using the Computer

- include at least 3 images to supplement their paper
