The current sensitiveness in regard to problems which are
exposed by the study of ecology, (contamination, deterioration of land into
desert, violation of space and natural reserves, climatic changes etc.),
is already having noticeable effect on the conscience of western society.
Nowadays all of us, whatever our political learning, agree
is necessary to act in the manner which most efficient in contributing to
the conservation of the environment. Ecology, more that just a branch of
biology, will shortly become and attitude to life, the human being all over
the planet, will shortly become and attitude to life, the human being all
over the planet, will find himself obliged to take whatever measures he
can, to conserve nature.
Grunny is a project series of animated Cartoons, entertaining,
educational at the same time enjoyable.
Naturally, it has been specially thought of for children but
because of the essence and type of characters it should be interesting for
spectators of any age.
At the present time many films and television serials including
animated cartoons, more or less directly touch the ecology theme.
Without losing a sense of humour or creativity the character
and actions of the series remind us about how things can be used in different
ways. They use rubbish to make new and useful things. On the other hand
in the technological world everything has a short life and is quickly thrown
out into the rubbish…This point of view is represented by a foolish
scientist who is always working with strange machines and trying to destroy
the forest.
The adventures of the characters in the series are conflict
between those that love the forest and enjoy it and those who only think
about it’s an economical resource.
The most powerful weapon used is imagination.
