Cancer of the Soul

How can you speak words of ignorance and blind hatred?
Do you not hold the brotherhood of humanity sacred?
How can you look at those different from you as your nemesis?
Guess I don't fit in with you because I'm not prejudiced
Always looking for the wrong, you're such a pessimist
If you're gonna discuss facts, at least back it up with some evidence
Instead of some bullshit temperment at things you know nothing about
All this mental swine is truly stuffing your mouth
Got me ready to start cussing and shout
"Man, fuck this!! All this fussing is out!"
And so am I, you've really hurt me deep within
But I'm trying to be righteous, you can keep your sins
Just when I thought the devil was no longer peepin' in
My eyes are finally opened, I'll never sleep again
It's sad when you can't speak to kin because they don't understand you
Guess there's nothing more I can say or can do
The hearts of men can change over time, that's damn true
But it shouldn't have gone this far, I never planned to
Be at this point with no solace left
Except for my words scribbled on this polished text
So which part of me will be demolished next?
My heart? My soul? Or maybe all my breath?
Only time will reveal the answer we will know
But who can be cured of a cancer of the soul?
