If I Die Tonight

If I die tonight, I hope I lived the highest life
Promoted my soul to the fullest and not some liars hype
I hope I accomplished all I was meant to do
And that you understand why I was sent to you
May my talent be accepted because my life was hectic
And all I wanted was to spread my message
At times it was aggressive but I was dedicated to my art
And the love that I felt was forever stated in my heart
So many know it even if I didn't show it
Hey, I am what I am; nothing more than a poet
Maybe one day I'll be quoted among the greatest masters
Taught about in classes about how I wanted to reach the masses
Of course the fact is it may not happen so I hold no fear or sorrow
Because if I die tonight, I'll still be here tomorrow
