Inside

You say everything is clear
I say where do we go from here?
When I've recognized all my fears
Rolling down in silent tears

What does it matter, what was it all for?
Can you hear me?
I'm screamin' for more!

What does it matter, what was it all for?
Can you HEAR ME?!

I can't take it, I've had enough
When it got rough, you called my bluff
'Cause inside my pain has tore me up
When the going got tough, I've bore enough

Inside - everything is jaded
Broken glass, spoken fast and faded
My whole universe is overrated
You took my heart and proceeded to break it
Inside - I bear the soul of a clown
All I need is you to hold me down
But you're too stubborn to come around
You've left me worthless, no purpose to be found

What does it matter, what was it all for
Can you hear me?
I'm trampled on the floor

What does it matter, what was it all for?
Can you HEAR ME?!

I can't take it, I've had enough
When it got rough, you called my bluff
'Cause inside my pain has tore me up
When the going got tough, I've bore enough

I won't take it
I can't take it
Is there anything that you hold sacred?

'Cause now I hate it
I'm cold and naked
Inside my pride has died even though I tried to make it

What does it matter, what was it all for
Can you hear me?
I'm screamin' for more

What does it matter, what was it all for
Can you hear me?
I'm trampled on the floor

I can't take it, I've had enough
When it got rough, you called my bluff
'Cause inside my pain has tore me up
When the going got tough, I've bore enough
