She stood before me, everything wonderful and grand
As my hand roamed spans across her thousand strands
Of silver sands that flowed over her Ivory lands
Staring deep into her Amethyst Orbs I began
To absorb and understand her ultimate plan
Tears that ran freely like a Ocean
Wondering aloud "Can I lend you a hand?"
This Divine Woman replied "yes you can"
Her words were music, her movements a slow dance
Her knees moved with the breeze as the trees old branch
Of leaves whispered to me her name "Romance"
Her whole stance put me into a slow trance
Was there no chance to penetrate that cold glance?
Where her mysteries were histories of lost forgotten
Thoughts begotten now tossed and rotten
Once soft as cotton
And thus I began to see that Romance to me
Despite Her Beauty and plans to be
Was nothing more than a fantasy
I'll never be able to reveal why
But I do feel I might still try
