She walks enveloped in darkness
A stranger beyond the touch
Such a beautiful power to harness
I am drawn to such
She moves through the moon's glow
And she starts to fade away
How is it that I would soon know
This Angel was made today
She walks alone through green fields
With a white rose in hand
Creating fantasies that seem real
Symbolizing the point where I chose to stand
With a face best described as wordless
I know not of her motives
I can't help but become nervous
When expected beauty takes focus
She walks in my dreams wrapped in clouds
Silence the sound that she loves
Can you remember when she laughed and smiled
Now only we see blood
The trail of souls down a tear-stained cheek
Flushed and hot like coals in Hell
The severed bonds were strong but remain weak
Bending to the storm but it got old and fell
She walks no more save when my mind wanders
And I look back on those long days
With nothing better to happen and time squanders
When black and white attack and fight and now belong gray
I wish I could walk those sands again with her hand in mine
To remind her just to take it slow
But deep inside I know there stands a time
And eventually God will make it so
...until then, She walks...
