Whole

So much commotion in my head, I wish it would go away
Makes me wonder how would I feel if there was no today
It kinda helps me understand why we go astray
This life is so complicated, why don't you show the way
Instead we wander, inside our heads we wonder
If rain is the sustenance of life then are we dead from thunder
Its hard to concentrate when the light crackles
Being pursued by night jackals trapped in tight shackles
Struggling to break the chains though the mistake remains
Turning my back at every corner to endlessly escape the pain
But its all a maze as I recall the days
That I saw the glaze of how we fall from grace
Chasin' after great disaster with hopes to see gold
Caught in this deep hold, I just wanna be whole
