RESTRICTIONS OF SALE

This feline is sold as a pet to be altered. This feline may not be used for breeding unless written permission is obtained in advance from the breeder/seller. At that time, breeder may request additional payment (the difference between the price of this feline as a pet and the price as a breeding animal, or $________) or some alternate form of compensation. Otherwise this feline must be altered by the age of seven months and proof of altering must be sent to the breeder at which time the registration papers will be forwarded to the owner named above. Proof of alter is a signed statement from a veterinarian attached to a photo of the cat, the back of the photo must also be signed by the veterinarian. When this documentation is submitted to the breeder TICA registration papers will be provided to you.

HEALTH AND MAINTENANCE

If owner is unable or unwilling to continue to care for feline, it is to be returned to breeder/seller for placement without refund of any kind one.

Feline is not to be caged for prolonged periods and must have ample room for exercise.

Feline may not be declawed. With proper training this feline will clean claws on items you provide for that purpose.

Feline is to be given proper medical care including proper vaccinations on a schedule determined to be proper by a veterinarian. All inoculations are current as of this date. The kitten/cat’s medical record is provided to the purchaser by the seller.

Kitten/cat should receive proper food and have fresh water available at all times. Kitten/cat has been fed a diet consisting primarily of the following foods: Fresh poultry/beef or tuna packed in water once a week. Premium dry cat food fed free choice. At this time we suggest ant Premium brand Kitten Food. For an occasional treat Fancy Feast with crab and shrimp is an all time favorite, we do not advocate the use of canned foods on a regular basis. We rotate the premium brands of dry food to keep some variety in the diet, examples are Eukanuba, Science Diet, Mazuri Feline Diet, and Royal Canin.

VET CHECK

Purchaser has 72 hours in which to have a well kitten/cat checkup by a veterinarian of purchaser’s choice at purchaser’s expense. During that time, kitten/cat should be kept isolated from other cats within the household and fed as documented above. After this time, breeder is under no obligation to return purchase price. If, within one year of purchase, the kitten/cat is found to have a genetic defect which causes severe disability or death. The feline will be replaced with a kitten of like quality when available.

Purchase price includes registration papers (to be provided when proof of altering is received by breeder/seller), pedigree, health record, and kitten/cat and is payable at time of sale and contract signing and is not negotiable at a later time and is not refundable after the initial 72 hour trial period except as stated above. Kitten/cat is purchased as a pet to be altered. Any amendments to this contract after the date of signing must be obtained in writing from the breeder/seller.
