Manlius, New York
January 2002

Our House
We're in the Village of Manlius, New York. Founded in 1813, a few miles outside of Syracuse, Manlius has a population of 4,700.

Our Backyard
So far we haven't attracted any winter birds, yet. Something, maybe a deer, eats all the sunflower seeds I put out every night. We spent a cold night laying out in the yard watching the 2001 Leonids meteor shower and heard deer breathing and sneezing in the bushes. Haven't seen many squirrels here--must not be enough pine trees.

It may be cold outside, but it's warm inside!
