Finally...Old Forge, New York
Normally this is a bustling mountain resort, but we were
here off season on a foggy, rainy day. Still, some of the shops we entered
were busier than we expected. Summer looks like it would be a lot of fun with
the lakes, water park, restaurants, antique shops, country stores, gift shops,
hiking, fishing, canoeing, camping, nature watching,... There are lots of
nice cabins and country homes, too.

in fields, and even on village streets!
