Our pharmacy, formerly known as "La Pharmacie T. D'Eon Limitée", was founded by Ted C. D'Eon, in 1972, in the small village of West Pubnico, in South-West Nova Scotia. The original pharmacy was located in an existing building known as "La Shoppe à Bert". In 1987, Ted became a member of the group which formed PHARMASAVE DRUGS ATLANTIC, with head office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

PHARMASAVE's mission is to organize independent pharmacy owners with similar operational profiles, and to provide a comprehensive program of services and expertise for their longevity.

In 1988 a new 5400 sq. ft.pharmacy building was built about 150ft. from the old one. We moved into it in November of that year.

PHARMASAVE - West Pubnico was independently owned and operated by Ted C. D'Eon (Pharmacist), Mariette d'Entremont (Front-Store Manager), and Louise Murphy (Pharmacist) until Jan. 31, 2008.

On Feb. 1, 2008, pharmacist Genny Prouty became the new owner of PHARMASAVE West Pubnico, now operating under the new legal name of Genny Prouty Pharmacy Limited.
