Inky

Does he look 18
years ? ( this was taken 2 years ago... he still looks just as
great :)...)
Inky is 20 years
old and still going strong. He has taught many kids how to ride
and is a good steady horse, but can be a little challenge for the
older rides. Inky use to be at the Pony club ( where Crosby was
).
After Tiny, Inky
was the perfect horse to get my confidence in jumping, up again!
He taught me alot and I feel when I do get a horse I will be
ready. ( and I only leased for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks in
August!, Yes Inky is the wonder horse!! :)...). A while ago I had
some bad turns in my riding and I was scared to jump. But Inky
had me jumping occasionally 3 feet, mostly 2'6" and
2'9" ( since he is an old man... ^_^ ), with all of the
confidence in the world. It's amazing what a great horse will
teach a rider. Now I have the riding ability like I had back with
Crosby and the Pony Club.
Update: This fall I
moved up to J.R. and Inky has his break from me, and he is
continuing to work his wonders on many other kids.
The pictures where
taken when I was a Stable Manager for the Pony Club Rally, hosted
by the Fredericton Pony Club, it was held on the RCS grounds. (
This was in 1997 ). In both pictures we are getting ready to do
the Stable Managers course. :)
