| This is just an underside shot of the armrest. What I did was to cut out a piece of 1X4 white pine the same shape as the armrest. I then screwed the board up inside the plastic armrest. I put two layers of foam and then started stapling my upolstery material down to the wood (pulling tightly). But I was left with an unfinished edge where the cup holder is. So I hot glued the edge down and had some double welting made and stapled and glued it on the edge, you can barely see it in the top right corner of the picture. |
