Ned: What --

Cynthia: Ok, don't be mad at me.

Ned: What the hell are you doing in my bed? And what the hell are you doing in this house?

Cynthia: After I saw you today on the street, I knew it was fate. I just had to figure out how to make it happen, so here I am.

Ned: No, no, stop, stop, stop right there. Alice!

Cynthia: Don't back away from me. Give me a chance to make you happy. I know i can.

Ned: Alice!

Cynthia: Who's Alice? That woman you were with on the street?

Ned: Look, stay -- stay right there. Stay.

Alice: For god's sakes, where's the fire?

Cynthia: Why are you being so mean?

Ned: Alice, this girl has snuck into the house. She climbed into my bed. I want you to get her dressed and get her out of the house!

Cynthia: Stop it! Leave me alone! Who is this person?

Ned: Meet Alice, our housekeeper and my witness in case I need one.

Cynthia: I can't believe how fast you changed. You weren't this way a few minutes ago, all cold and remote.

Ned: I don't know you, and I don't want to.

Cynthia: Did I do something wrong? Just tell me and I'll do it better.

Ned: Listen to me, listen to me. I'm only going to say this once. You stay away from me and stay away from this house. Otherwise, i will call the police. Thank you, Alice. For obvious reasons, I'm leaving now.

Alice: Understood.

Cynthia: Eddie didn't mean that.

Alice: Yeah, yeah. Put these on.

Cynthia: He's just saying those things because you're here. When we're alone, it's a completely different story. He treats me like a woman.

[Knock on door]

Cynthia: See? I knew he'd reconsider. Who are you?

A.J.: You just took the words right out of my mouth. I wondered why ned was screaming for you. What's -- what's going on?

Alice: Well, you know, I can't really tell you. I don't know.

Cynthia: My name is Cindy.

A.J.: A.J., The cousin. I see that you and Ned are -- are pretty close.

****************************************

A.J.: I'll make sure cindy gets home safely.

Alice: Mr. Ashton wanted me to see the girl out.

A.J.: Alice, I'll handle Ned.

Alice: Ok.

A.J.: Thank you.

Cindy: Thank you for being so nice to me.

A.J.: Oh, that's how I am -- all-around nice guy. So, how long have you and ned been seeing each other?

Cindy: That's between me and Eddie.

A.J.: "Eddie"?

Cindy: Yeah. I know you call him ned, but to me, he's still Eddie. And the rest, with all due respect, is none of your business.

A.J.: You're either incredibly naive or very good at this. I'm not sure which.

Cindy: I don't know what you mean.

A.J.: It doesn't matter. You know why? Because I'm going to give you something that will give you a lot more satisfaction than a round of mattress tag with Ned.

Cindy: What's that?

A.J.: Oh, just a little compensation for the time we're about to spend. Come on. I'll give you a ride home. I want you to tell me all there is to know about Cindy. Ok? What's your last name, again?
