A Service for Everyone: The chaplains offer friendship, support, practical help and time to everyone. We hope to be alongside students as they face the challenges of university life in Teesside. The chaplains are here to listen, not to tell - to befriend, not to judge. Confidentiality is respected and no attempt is made to persuade or convince you on any particular approach. We are willing to make home visits or attend hospital and are available to support those experiencing bereavement of family and friends. We hold information on local churches, world faith traditions, university societies and opportunities for volunteering with a range of organisations. A number of chaplaincy activities take place at The Little House (pictured above) to which everyone is very welcome. We are available to anyone who wants to talk in confidence about problems or questions they may have. If we can't help we usually know someone who can! We can be contacted, or a message left for us on 01642 342264. The chaplaincy office is in the Student Centre on the first floor - usually, you don't need to make an appointment. The Little House chaplaincy centre is located at 96 Park Lane (behind Parkside Halls) and on the campus map with indication number 21. |
