To Love Deeply

For this tutorial you will need
psp7 or above
background image of your choice
misted tube, flower tube & Font Here
Filters - Artistic - rough pastels Here
Simple - Horizontal Grain Here

Open your background image, misted tube and flower tube in psp
Open your font and minimize.

1. Hold shift and press D to make a duplicate of your background image, close original.
Colorize a color of your choice.

2. Effects, Artistic, Rough Pastels either use my settings or adjust to suit your image.

3. Copy your misted image and paste as new layer, using your mover tool, position somewhere near centre top of your image.
In your layer palette set your blend mode to hard light and lower the opacity to between 40 and 50.

4. Copy and paste your flower tube as new layer, position in one of the bottom corners
set blend mode to luminance.
Duplicate this layer and resize by 90% and position a little to the side and down.

5. set your background colour, choose a colour from your image

6. choose your preset shapes tool, rectangle, create as vector checked.
Draw a rectangle all the way across your image somewhere near the bottom.
Convert to raster.

7. Choose your magic wand, click on your rectangle,
Effects, simple, horizontal grain.
Deselect.
Duplicate layer and rotate 90, position to the opposite side to your flowers

Note: here I experimented with different blend modes until I found something I liked,
the horizontal one was set to luminance and
the vertical one set to screen and colourized the same as my background.
I also lowered the opacity on both layers to 56.
Try it to see what you get.

8. Choose your text tool, make sure vector is checked, add your text,
(because the font is minimized on your toolbar it will show in the list)
Convert to raster

9. Effects, 3d, Inner Bevel, settings as per screenshot

10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 for your name but set your background to null and your foreground to colour, so your name appears as an outline only.

I used a slightly different bevel effect on mine see screenshot

11. add copyright information and your watermark if you wish.

12. Merge all flatten and save as .jpg

Here is another sample I made.
I did not colorize the background image.
This meant it needed different blend modes for the rectangle layers.
