SUNFLOWERS
This is what we will be making
For this tutorial you will need PSP7 or above
Animation Shop
My suppliesHere
Open the sunflowers tube and my boxes pattern in psp,
place the gradient in your gradients folder in psp
1. Open new canvas 400 x 250 transparent
2. Set foreground to gradient sunflower,
linear, angle 0, repeats 1, background to null,
set your texture to crumpled paper
3. Choose your floodfill toool
Floodfill your blank canvas,
In your layer palette, right click, merge all flatten,
then right click again and promote to layer
4. Turn off your texture by clicking on the
little black arrow and choosing null
5. Now make the boxes image active, and hit shift & D 4 times,
to make 4 copies and close the original
6. make one of the boxes copies active,
selections, modify, expand by 1 pixel
floodfill with your gradient, same settings as before.
Deselect
7. Now make another boxes copy active,
selections, modify, expand by 1 pixel
floodfill with your gradient,
settings, linear, angle 45, repeats 1
Deselect
8. Now make third boxes copy active,
selections, modify, expand by 1 pixel
floodfill with your gradient,
settings, linear, angle 90, repeats 1
Deselect
9. Now make fourth boxes copy active,
selections, modify, expand by 1 pixel
floodfill with your gradient,
settings, linear, angle 135, repeats 1
Deselect
you should now have four images that look like this
10. Copy and paste as new layer each one of the four images
rename each layer as you go boxes 1, 2, 3 & 4.
your layer pallette should now look like this.
11. Hide all layers except boxes 1
by clicking on the little glasses in your layer palette
12. With boxes 1 layer active,
selections, select all, then choose your magic
wand and click once on your canvas.
effects, texture effects, mosaic - glass
settings: columns/rows 25, tile opacity 70, grout width 2, grout opacity 40
Deselect
13. Unhide boxes 2, Selections, select all,
magic wand and click once on your canvas
repeat mosaic effect, same settings
Repeat for boxes 3 & boxes 4
14. Unhide layer 1
15. Copy and paste your tube as new layer,
resize if necessary,
effects, drop shadow, v/h 3 opacity 100 blur 3 color black,
use your mover tool to position a little to the left
16. Choose your text tool, vector checked,
foreground set to gradient still,
background set to gradient also but this time set to radial
h/v 50 repeats 9, type your text, click ok.
Position your text and stretch as desired.
17. In your layer palette, right click and convert to raster layer,
effects, drop shadow v/h 3 opacity 100 blur 3 color black
repeat drop shadow but change the v/h to -3 (minus)
18. Hide all layers except your tube and your text layers,
merge visible, rename it tube
19.Now make layer 1 active and duplicate it 3 times, rename them bg1,2,3 & 4
20. Make tube layer active and duplicate it 3 times, rename them tube 1,2,3 & 4
21. now hide all layers except those with a 1 in them, merge visible
now hide the merged layer and unhide all no 2 layers, merge visible
now hide the merged layer and unhide all no 3 layers, merge visible
now hide the merged layer and unhide all no 4 layers, merge visible.
22. Unhide all layers and save as sun.psp file
Open Animation Shop
click on your animation wizard

Save as .gif
