| FIGHT BACK TO SCHOOL 2. Starring - Stephen Chiao - Cheung Man - Ng Man Tat - Chu Yan. Directed by - Gordon Chan. In this the second installment of the FBTS series we see the two heroes Chow Sing Sing and Ah Tat take on a group of international terrorists who are threatening to blow up schools in Hong Kong in order to ensure the release of their evil leader who is being held captive by the British goverment. Along the way Chow is made a scapegoat after an undercover agent is killed by the terrorists. Totally demoralised Chow resigns and decides in order to redeem his name he must once again go undercover as a student. Chow employs the use of three of his old school buddies and together they enrol at the school most likely to be attacked by the terrorists. Much more serious than the first part of the trilogy Gordan Chan delivers a very entertaining and competent movie with a much stronger story line manipulated along the way by some great comic distraction. Tat and Chiao obviously enjoy working with each other and it shows in FBTS 2 as they both demand your attention when on camera at the same time, providing us with some hillarious moments. The action packed finale is also very well done with some alluring gunplay on offer and Chiao gets to show us he can do more than just comedy routines. This title does look a bit dated now, but don't let that deter you as FBTS 2 is one of those titles that delivers comedy and action without putting too much pressure on the brain. 8********stars.
