| FIGHT BACK TO SCHOOL 3 Starring - Stephen Chiao - Shara Cheung - Anita Mui. Directed by - Wong Jing Million Wong is found murdered in his hotel room; he has been stabbed to death with an ice pick. Officer Lai recruits Chow Sing Sing to the case. Upon reaching the scene Chow destroys some crucial evidence by drinking the victims sperm (according to my girlfriend it’s full of calcium). Officer Lai seizes the opportunity and threatens to have Chow arrested unless he agrees to go undercover as Million Wong who just happens to be a dead ringer for Chow. After much begging Chow sets off to disclose the identity of the murderer. The prime suspects being Million Wongs wife Judy and his best friend Taior. Basically this is a parody of the US film Fatal Attraction and FBTS3 doesn’t try to hide this by referring to it on numerous occasions. If you have seen either of the prior movies then you will probably be disappointed with this title, that doesn’t mean this is a bad film it’s just not the same without Ng Man Tat. There are some highly amusing moments here but they are few and far between. Without the comedy this film would be a total waste of time. What annoyed me most about this title was with Wong Jing’s Scooby Doo like explanation of the murders right at the end. A seven year old would have understood what was going on here so why does WJ insult our intelligence by wasting time and energy explaining it all to us. I was just waiting with baited breath for the ‘If it wasn’t for you pesky kids’ line! Unless you are a massive fan of Stephen Chiao then I would recommend renting Fatal Attraction instead. 6******stars. Who is she? She is toilet papa our housekeeper. |
