NO PROBLEM (MOU MAN TAI).
Starring - Okamura Takashi - Francis Ng - Low Houi Kang - Man Hoi.
Director  - Alfred Cheung.

Daijiro wakes to discover a letter from his lover Ling. She has left him and set off to become a receptionist for her hero and fantasy, Jackie Chan. He is left heartbroken by this and decides to leave Japan and he too sets off to Hong Kong, to try and win back his love.
Upon arriving he meets up with Kenichi who promptly finds him a place to live and a job… as a stuntman for Sammo Hung. Daijiro has never done any stuntwork before but no problem as he sees this as a great way of getting Ling back in his arms. All he has to do is earn the title of #1 stuntman.
Things get complicated though, as Daijiro returns home one evening to discover a Chinese illegal immigrant under his bed. Neither speaks the same language so they enlist the help of Ling as a translator between the two. It transpires that Ching was split up from her HK boyfriend Ming and she is trying to find him so they can marry. Daijiro agrees to help her find Ming but the pair are soon falling for each other, to the great annoyance of Ling who prefers Daijiro’s attentions all for herself.
No problem is a romantic comedy that is best described as pleasant. I am not saying that No problem is a bad movie, far from it. No problem is a great little movie with some really funny moments. The funniest being when Daijiro begins work as a stuntman on a wire-fu movie and is literally pulled from pillar to post. Watch in disbelief as Daijiro is also caught up in a bizarre mating ritual with a Bruce Lee fanatic whilst dining at the Bruce Lee café.
No problem strolls along at a nice pace, a funny plot is played out by a friendly cast, we also get to see cameos from Sammo Hung and Ken Lo but even these don’t really push the movie towards any kind of innovation. The director has done a decent job with what he has had before him. Unfortunately this is not enough as, whilst being an enjoyable movie it is soon forgotten. If you want to charm your girlfriend then this movie is for you, however £30 and a trip to the local strip joint would be just as warm and far more memorable.
