| Many years ater the events in MYST: The Book of Atrus, Atrus is living happily on MYST with his grandmother (Ti'ana) his wife (Catherine) and his two sone (Sirrus and Achenar). Eventually Ti'ana dies of old age, and Sirrus and Achanar become greedy boys. Together they start to rule over Atrus's ages, destroying those who are useless and stealing valuables from the locals, declaring themselves gods. Together they devise a plan to trap there mother on Riven and there father in D'ni. Taking one page from the MYST linking book so Atrus can not get back. They sucseed in theit plan but, Atrus guessing their plan created two trap books. Links to appear like a new age but actually an infinite black void. All of the family is traped until a stranger appears on the island. After working the puzzels of MYST and the remainig ages, the stranger frees Atrus from his prison in D'ni. Atrus destroys the trap books and thanks the stranger for releasing him. Atrus sais that he may call on the assistane of the stranger in the near future. For Catherine is still trapped on Riven... |
