| A Tekken game wouldn't be the same without some hidden extras. Take a look at these beauties... (I'm going to leave out the obvious) MOKUJIN/TETSUJIN Once they're available you need to press LP to bring up metalic Tetsujin. Pressing any the other three buttons will bring up the variations of the original Mokujin. If the randomly chosen fighting style doesn't suit you during a game, press the Tag buton and wait 15 seconds. When you bring Mokujin/Tetsujin back he'll be using a different style. GOLD TETSUJIN To unlock this shiny Tetsujin you have to win ten consecutive matches. The next time he appears he'll be a dull gold rather than the gun metal he usually is. This cheat doesn't save onto memory card. ANGEL Once Devil is available, press Start as you highlight him and you'll play as his opposite. TIGER After you've opened up more than ten characters (enough to give you the theatre option), press Start as you highlight Eddy Gordo. AK'S NEW OUTFIT Armor King's new outfit can only be worn after you've completed the game as him. Press Start to don it. TEKKEN BOWL This excellent sub-game can be accessed once you've opened up True Ogre. Masahiro Kimoto (the man behind Tekken Tag) offered this advice - go for Paul as your first character, followed by a 'Control First' character, such as Xiaoyu. Also, you can KO Dr B with a well aimed shot- he's stood in the crowd on the left. GALLERY MODE If you manage to pull off a stunning move, there's a screen grab option which takes a perfect image of the on-screen violence. This is unlocked by opening Devil in Arcade mode. When you want to take a shot, press Start and go to the Screen Capture option. Pressing RK will take the snap, which can be viewed in Gallery Mode. BASIC TAG THROW To perform a tag throw, press RP and Tag together. This'll hurl your oponent into the air. After a bad landing, your partner will jump in and land on top of them. START WITH PARTNER If you want to change the pace of things to throw your opponent off, hold Tag before the beginning of the next round. PAIR PLAY MODE If you want be on the same side as your friend, instead of kicking their candy ass, press Right while highlighting VS mode. You'll see Pair Play mode appear. Superb - a co-operative mode. |
