If it were not for "Just A Little More (Acid)," minor could be
gone. It was extreme luck that they released the album when they did. Though
the Grannyf Award nominations put them in categories with
Oasis and Guy Smiley, this band does not feel intimidated. "The
ironic thing is," says vocalist Mike Tartàglia, "is that I grew up
listening to Oasis, and I recognize Guy Smiley from my high
school." The first and only single for the album is "Mostros," an odd
all-electronica look at internationality. The video for "Mostros" was self
directed, and also landed them with a "Best Dance Video" nomination in NTV's
Video Music Awards. They lost to the revived Chemical Brothers,
though. Included on the single is a conversation with a few of their Formula
One friends including Peter Windsor, Rubens Barrichello, Jean Alesi, and
Pedro Diniz.
