Episode 55 
During a terrible stormy night Anabella gives Elena a knife and orders her to kill Virginia. Carlos Alberto discovers Virginia is Elena's daughter and so informs Maximiliana, Anabella and Virginia. When Elena is about to kill Virginia she tells Elena she is her daughter and Elena stops hurting her. Maximiliana and Anabella plan to send Elena to an ansane asylum to hurt Virginia now that she knows the crazy woman is her mother. Juvencio finds Elena soaking wet under a desk and takes her to the Roldans' mansion where Maximiliana treats her cruelly. Raquel accuses Carlos Alberto and Virginia of having caused Rodrigo's death. Maximiliana informs Virginia the baby girl Elena gave birth to died. Maricruz and Aldo discover Tita's lie and they make up. Anabella decides Virginia will take Elena to live with her. 

Episode 56 
Danilo finds the document Rodrigo had keep as proof against the Roldan family, but he doesn't burn it. Anabella tells Virginia sweetly she is happy because Virginia finally found her mother. Maricruz and Aldo discover Tita's plan to separate them. Victor asks Sagrario to confess to Junior that he is his father, but she refuses to do it. Anabella puts into Elena's head that Virginia is the culprit for Rodrigo's death. Raquel witnesses Danilo kissing Virginia by force and tells Carlos Alberto, without mentioning the last part. Then she embraces him but Carlos Alberto rejects her advances. Anabella takes Elena to live with Virginia hoping Elena will attack her again. David tells Violeta Johnny forgot all about her. Virginia confesses Carlos Alberto she married Danilo so that he furnishes the Junquera family an important amount of money. Danilo tells Virginia he wants a son of theirs, leaving her terrorized. 

Episode 57 
After Danilo tells Virginia that he wants to have a child with her, Violeta tells Virginia that Elena cannot live with them. Juvencio finds out that Zaira is going to run away because the police called her to make a statement about Rodrigo's death. Carlos Alberto tells Virginia that she should not trust Danilo. Virginia visits Lupe to help her. Raquel tells her siblings that they must lock Elena up in an asylum. Maricruz tells Sister Emilia that she is not going to return to the convent because she does not want to be a nun. Virginia wants to speak with Calderon and Danilo orders him to lie to her. Anabella tells Elena that Virginia killed Rodrigo and gives her a weapon to take revenge. Maricruz confronts Maximiliana. Carlos Alberto tells Raquel and Violeta that he will go away and that Virginia married Danilo just to protect them. Carlos Alberto says goodbye to Virginia and assures her that he will always love her. Zenaida confronts Junior and he mistreats her. Calderon tells Virginia that Danilo lied to her. 

Episode 58 
Calderon tells Virginia that Danilo lied to her and that she should not trust him. Santiago tells Vanessa that he will rent an apartment for her and her family. Raquel and Junior manage to put Elena in an asylum. Virginia slaps Danilo and tells him that he fooled her. After that, Danilo fires Calderon. Zenaida tells Sagrario that Lupe is expecting Junior's child. Virginia finds out that Elena is in an asylum and she confronts Raquel for that. Alirio confronts Danilo and tells him that Calderon will stay. Virginia is desperate because she does not know where her mother is. Sagrario tells Junior that he has to marry Lupe. Virginia tells Carlos Alberto that she will divorce Danilo. Carlos Alberto hits Danilo when he arrives home.
