Episode 71 
Virginia tells Carlos Alberto that she is sure that she has something serious in her eyes and that she will die soon. Araceli is devastated because she is sure now that Danilo does not love her. The doctor tells Carlos Alberto that Virginia has almost lost the sight on both eyes and that he is not sure about the reason. Father cChema finds out that Anabella was not really pregnant. Danilo is released on bail. Inspector Torres goes on investigating Alirio about Rodrigo Junquera's death. Raquel tells Aldo that as Virginia is blind, she will be the mistress of the house now. Junior telephones Tania and tells her that he is already working with her father. Danilo speaks with Juvencio and asks him to take Araceli away because he does not love her. Carlos Alberto tells his family that he is still going to marry Virginia. Anabella reveals to Virginia that she is blind and that she will be blind forever. 

Episode 72 
Anabella tells Virginia that she is blind. Alirio tells Zaira that if the police discover the truth, they could run away together. Anabella tells Virginia that she cannot condemn Carlos Alberto to spend the rest of his life with her. Father Chema confronts Anabella. Danilo visits Virginia and tells her that he still loves her. Maximiliana tells Anabella that she has never really loved Carlos Alberto. Virginia tells Sagrario that she knows the truth. Anabella visits Carlos Alberto and tells him that she will be waiting for him. While Vanessa is learning to be a lady, Raymundo tells Edith that one day, he will make her pay for everything she has done to him. Aldo meets a girl named Perla while Maricruz is determined to ask him to forgive her. Carlos Alberto finds out that Virginia already knows the truth. Virginia tells Carlos Alberto that she is not going to marry him. Carlos Alberto asks Virginia if Danilo's visit has something to do with her decision. 

Episode 73 
Carlos Alberto tells Sagrario that Virginia rejects him because she is blind. Araceli tells Virginia that Danilo only loves her. Carlos Alberto is leaving because Virginia does not want to marry him. Danilo asks Maximiliana to help him to get rid of Araceli. Virginia is discharged from the hospital and she arrives home. Raquel tells Virginia that she will be in charge of the house now. Carlos Alberto assures Violeta that Virginia does not love him anymore. Junior asks Lupe to get rid of her baby and be his mistress again. Virginia tells Raquel that as soon as Carlos Alberto leaves, she will go away too. Maximiliana threatens Araceli with sending her to jail if she does not go back to her town. Junior quarrels with Sagrario and decides to leave the house. Anabella looks for Carlos Alberto and begs him not to go away.

Episode 74 
Anabella begs Carlos Alberto not to go away. Memito finds out that Virginia is blind and he feels guilty. Virginia is moved when Aldo tells her that he will always take care of her. Sagrario tells Virginia that she will go away with her. Maximiliana accuses Araceli of stealing some jewels from her. Sagrario visits Elena at the hospital and the doctor tells her that she is better. Carlos Alberto asks Father Chema to take care of Virginia while he is away. Danilo offers Virginia all his help so she can recover the sight. Sagrario begs Junior not to leave but he refuses. Inspector Torres notifies Carlos Alberto that he cannot go away because he is a key witness in his father's murder case and that the police is now sure that Alirio is the brains of Rodrigo's murder. Maximiliana forces Araceli to return to her village. Alirio decides to run away with Zaira. following Maximiliana's advice, Anabella calls Carlos Alberto and tells him that if he does not go to pick her up and make up with her, she will commit suicide.
