The TelevisionCity Newsletter is written for TelevisionCity homesteaders by TelevisionCity homesteaders! Join us today! It's easy to share what you know and become a neighborhood celebrity! Here's what you do: choose to be a one-time volunteer or a staff writer! One time volunteers write one article related to TelevisionCity; staff writers, once per month, write one article about anything related to TelevisionCity: your favorite show, 'hood contests, awards, tips and tricks from the HTML experts, the latest neighborhood happenings, and lots more! It's a great way to publicize great sites, get recognized by your neighbors, and even add interest to your resume!

The Awards & Webrings Committtee takes care of TelevisionCity's four different awards and three webrings. Our awards (Excellence Award, Star Award, Starlet Award and Entertainment Sites Award) are given to interesting and well-designed sites within Yahoo! GeoCities, and we even have a webring only for our award winners. Our other webrings are the Remote Control Webring for all TV related sites at Yahoo! GeoCities and the TelevisionCity LeadeRing, a webring for CLs of TelevisionCity only.
So this Committee is not only reponsible for administrating the webrings, but also for running TelevisionCity's award program. We search for great sites in our hood and reward them with the award. We also vote and discuss on award applications and decide if and what award a homesteader gets.

This is a great committee in which you can have fun, and promote TelevisionCity Central at the same time! What you have to do, is copy a code which you will paste on homesteaders' guestbooks. It is a picture of the TelevisionCity mascot TV Watchkins, and it links back to TelevisionCity Central. You get two weeks to do one block, although you can do howevermany you want =)

Founded for the basic need of getting the word of Television City out to the people. We are trying everyday to bring people to our site to show them what we have to offer for fans of Television past and present. We are also constantly looking for new Community Leaders who have good websites and know their way around the internet.
