Other Characters

Broots (John Gries) - A character that first emerged as a computer geek that dug into important Centre files like a mole for Miss Parker and Sydney when they needed it. However, over the past three seasons he has developed into a multi-faceted character. He still recovers files and hidden DSA's that he shouldn't, but he does more. Not only is he great comic relief, especially when he ticks Miss Parker off, he serves as a sort of anchor to the real world. His life hasn't been turned upside down (at least not yet) by the Centre like Miss Parker and Sydney. When not at The Centre he maintains a semblence of a normal life. He has a daughter, although his marital status, if he ever was married or divorced, is unknown. Her name is Debbie (Kelsey Mulrooney) and she's quite an adorable little twelve-year-old.
Even with his nervous and sometimes goofy demeanor, he manages to keep Miss Parker and Sydney in line in a roundabout way. Even though Miss Parker is usually the one demeaning Broots he occassionally puts her in her place. Sydney can also rely on Broots if he can't trust Miss Parker.
Hopefully this character will continue to develop and maybe someday John Gries will join Micheal T. Weiss, Andrea Parker, and Patrick Bauchau in the opening credits instead of just being a "guest star"

Mr. Raines (Richard Marcus) - This shady character was at first mysterious and aloof and minor until more about his involvement in the Centre and Jarod was revealed. He is a wheezing, oxygen tank-dependent scary old man whose hissing voice even strikes fear in Jarod's heart.
Formerly Dr. William Raines, Mr. Raines' Centre career involved cruel and intriguing tests and experiments on children involved in the Pretender project. Even when his medical license was revoked he continued these experiments cloaked in Centre secrecy. He is continually at odds with Sydney, who resents Raines for his evil doings especially since Raines used to be a doctor, and Miss Parker because she has come to suspect him of having something to do with her mother's death. He is also at odds with Mr. Parker, who has a dubious position somewhere high up in the Centre. It appear that Mr. Raines is below Mr. Parker sometimes, but sometimes it appears he is not. It is hard to say who has more authority but the two argue a lot.

Mr. Parker (Harve Presnell) - He is the estranged father of Miss Parker and former husband of the late Catherine Parker. As previously mentioned, he holds a rather dubious position somewhere high up in the Centre. He seems to be the head hancho sometimes but others it looks like there are things going on that even he doesn't know about. Case in point: his attempted assasination by Brigitte, who ironically sat near him at a T-board inquiry later.
Mr. Parker is a gruff old gentlemen who sometimes speaks with arrogant authority and othertimes speaks very nicely to his daughter, whom he affectionately refers to as "Angel". But this daddy-charm with Miss Parker can be condescending and she has found out that he lies to her straight through his teeth. He is coniving and backstabbing, but not as evil as Mr.Raines, but he hides it more than Raines does.
He was originally speculated to have had something to do with Catherine Parker's death, or even maybe have pulled the trigger, but a scene in a season two episode showed he did mourn her loss. But this doesn't make you feel sorry for him for long. After that he was back to his lying-ways.

Brigitte (Pamela Gidley) - Not much is known about this character - what her full name is or where she came from or her exact position in The Centre. She appears to be nothing more than a glorified Sweeper, but holds more weight than that. After she attempted to kill Mr. Parker she was released later as if nothing had happened.
Brigitte is blonde, plucky (in an evil way), and is rarely without her faked English accent or lollipop (ala' Kojack). She'll call you "love" but be secretly planning to kill you. Sometimes she let's her "bitch" side roam free, especially when she's angry at Miss Parker for letting Jarod get away, but she's quickly back to her chirpy voice and lollipop-sucking.

Mr. Lyle (No photo available at this time) (Jamie Denton) - At first he was as mysterious as Brigitte and more of a minor character than her, but after he was "killed" by Miss Parker more about his past was revealed and later he came back from the dead.
Mr. Lyle is the deadliest and most-feared of the evil characters which also include Mr. Raines, Brigitte, and sometimes Mr. Parker. He is cool and heartless; he can pull a gun and shoot somebody dead without thinking twice or feeling guilt. His insane, murderous ways, as it was discovered by Miss Parker, Broots, and Sydney, began when he was a teenager, then known as "Bobby". He killed his best friend, faked his own death by using his friend's body and framed his father for the murder and inadvertantly drove his mother to insanity when his dad was convicted.
