The LOVE group's STEERING committee meets every couple of months, on an AS NEEDED BASIS. The STEERING committee is in charge of the more actual business of the group, such as creating (reviewing, and revising-IF NEEDED...)the BYLAWS of the LOVE group. The BYLAWS refer to the LOVE group's policies. The STEERING committee is also in charge of planning the LOVE group's annual meeting & picnic, which is held every August. (It's held at the Northeast Independant Living Center (NILP), Lawrence MA), which is a center for people with all types of disabilitie-not just psychiatric disablities., the LOVE group is a part of the NILP.
