2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

5 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

3 all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup of milk or half and half

Preheat oven to 350. Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl. With mixer on low mix until creamy. Mix for about 1 to 2 minutes. Increase mixer speed to high, scraping bowl good, mix until very fluffy for about 5 or 6 minutes. Reduce speed and add remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake 65 to 75 minutes. Inster toothpick in center and see if it comes out clean.
