TUESDAY MARCH 17, 1998

FRANCO AND SAMI Franco is trying to think of a way to get Austin back interested in boxing without having Sami to have anything to do with it. Sami say she knows that Carrie hated it when Austin boxed. They are going to try and have Carrie see that her and Austin have different worlds and where Carrie is spending so much time with Mike and his campaign for chief of staff that their worlds are more similar. Sami says she knows the perfect person to convince Austin.

CHURCH AND HOSPITAL Lexie does CPR on Stepheno and finally gets a pulse before the paramedics arrive and take him to the hospital. Marlena told her she did a good job. Lexie rides in the ambulance with him. The pastor wants to know whether to contunine with the service and they say no to go ahead with the burial. He wants to know since Stepheno is her next of kin if anyone will be there. John says he will come she deserves a decent burial and Marlena goes with him. At first Roman is going to go with them then he changes his mind and decides to let them go by theirselves. Eric tells him that must of been hard to do. Roman tells him it was but John is having a hard time with his guilt as to KRisten's suicide. Everyone else heads to the pub. AT the hospital Austin calls Carrie to see if she can meet him at the Pub and she tells him no she wantss to stay and observe Mike in a emergency that is coming into the ER. Austin tells her maybe later and she says she will try. They get Stepheno stabilized and Mike tells Lexie that he has a 50/50 chance. Abe gets there and she tells him she knows he doesn't like him. Abe tells her he is her father and she is worried about him and he is there for her. Lexie talks to Stepheno and tells him she will be there for him. Mike asks Carrie he though she was going home to do research on him. Carrie tells him that she learned more tonight than she could ever learned from any article. She tells him the way was with Lexie. Mike tells her he was just doing his job. Carrie tells him that she has an idea how to use it.

JOHN AND MARLENA at the burial. John says he couldn't give KRisten what she wanted and wished that he would of heard her plea for help. He says now maybe she has found the peace she was looking for. John and Marlena go back to his place and he plays the tape for her and they hug.

THE PUB Eric is talking to Austin and asks him if he ever misses boxing and he says yes. Austin ask him if he reconsidered a job at titian and ERic tells him he thought about doing something about his photogaphry(sp?). Austin tells him he has seen some of his pictures and they are good. Eric tells him it is just a hobby and he ask Austin if that is how his boxing started out. Ausint tells him at first it started out as a nessity to get Billie though rehab and then it became a career. Bo is trying to get HOpe alone to talk to her, but every time he does Billie comes up and says she needs to talk to him. she reminds of having a doctors appointment at the Church. Roman tells Billie that Bo should be with her. He also tells her he doesn't see why that can't help each other hear as they did in Paris. Laura announces to everyone that Jack and JEnn are engaged and that she is going to throw the biggest wedding that Salem has ever seen. Vivian is still upset over Jonesy dieing and since Stepheno collasped she says all of her ex lovers are dropping like flies. Ivan tells her he is as strong as an ox. She tells him to use his strentgh to get her a sandwich. Laura says to Jack and Jenn she doesn't see why everyone was so sober before, Salem will be better off without Kristen and it was too bad they couldn't get rid of her and Stepheno all in the same day. Jack says wow. Jenn says she is worried about her. KSusan is trying to find out about Stepheno and not blow her cover, but the hospital wont' tell her anything unless she is related. Edmund won't let her out of his sight hardly. She is afaid that someone is going to figure out she isn't Susan. Caroline tell her she looks different. Edmund announces that he and Susan are also engaged to be married. Everyone hugs KSusan and she says she can't handle to much more of this. Someone says to bad they couldn't get married in Salem and Maggie tells her I know you dont' think weddings ever happen in Salem, and KSusan looks stange at her. Maggie says you told me that. Edmund says yes she told me that dont' you remember Susan and she says I remember. Caroline looks strange at her. Bo finally gets to talk to HOpe alone. She tells him Billie being pregnant only makes his betrayal only more hurtful. Roman tells Billie to go find Bo and go to the doctors appointment as she walks up to the door she over hears that Bo wishes that Billie hadnt' gotten pregnant and that there was no baby at all. end of show. HOpe tells Jen that she is going to start diggin into her past at Masion Blanche eariler at the pub.

THURSDAY MARCH 12, 1998

Ivan hears Vivian's screams, but assumes they're cries of passion. Vivian calls the front desk for help, but it's too late to revive Jonesy, and she collapses in Ivan's arms. Eric tells Carrie about Jed and his crimes, and explains how he and Amy figured out what happened. Hoping that Jed's repented, Carrie remarks that Jed and Sami have a lot in common - completely delusional. Franco stops love-making with Sami, saying she's still thinking of Austin. He wants to take things slow, refusing a nightcap, and promising more dates. Franco gloats he has Sami snared now. Lucas confronts Sami, and says to straighten out, or he'll sue for custody. Kristen/Susan wants to leave for England, but Edmond insists they stay for the funeral. Saying what a wonderful person Marlena is, Edmond is surprised to hear distaste in Kristen/Susan's voice, and mentions how different she seems. Roman and Marlena arrive as Edmond and Kristen/Susan are kissing. They call Roman a hero, and Marlena offers Roman use of her shower. Checking for messages, Marlena's surprised that Kristen/Susan already did. As the men prepare to leave, Kristen/Susan wants to leave too, but Marlena asks her to stay the night. Kristen/Susan asks Marlena if she's chosen hero Roman over John, but Marlena is undecided. When Kristen/Susan wonders if John's grieving means still loving Kristen, Marlena disagrees. Concealed by a veil, and without her glasses, Susan tries to dance for the sultan, but falls and the veil comes off. The sultan, saying she's ugly and can't dance, orders her immediate execution.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 11, 1998

ENGLAND Ivan is leaving he can't stand it that Vivian is with Jonesy. Vilot tries to get him to stay and he tries to hitchhike and she tells him he was crazy to try and hitchhike at this time of night and and on the coldest one of the year. She makes him some hot soup and tells him he can't leave without saying good bye to Vivian. vivian and Jonesy are still in bed and she said they could stay there the rest of their married life. Vivian tells him the truth about first just wanting to marry him for his money, but now she loves him. Jonesy tells her that he knew that she was marry him for his money, but he thought she would grow to love him. He is about to confess something to her and he dies on top of her. Vilot gets a call from Edmund and he tells her that Susan accepted his proposal and she says she thinks Susan is adorable and he says so does he.

AT THE GRILL everyone is leaving after Lucas and Franco's little rift. Edmund says maybe they should leave before anymore fist are thrown. So they leave. Franco and Sami are sitting at their table and Franco pays for the meal and tells her that he wants their evening to end on a high note. How about a drive in the limosuine and she tells him she would follow him anywhere. They leave. Carrie and Austin are still there and Carrie says she feels sorry for Lucas and Austin says he has had to much to drink. Lucas leaves and as he goes by Carrie and Austin he says this isn't over. CArrie wonders what he means by that. They both wonder what Franco is up to if he could be really interested in Sami. They talk about Will and that Lucas is his father and Austin is still getting used to it, but it will be easier when she is pregnant with a child of their own. Back at kates kate has come home and Lucas gets there and she wants to know what happened and he tells her and he says maybe he was a little hard on Sami. He wants to sue her for custody of Will and Kate tries to talk him out of it. She tells him Sami will expose her. Lucas tells her she is selfish and is putting her needs above her kids and her grandchild. Franco and Sami are in the limo and they start kissing and she tells him it is different and he tells her it is because there is trust now. They start kissing and lay down in the seat. Edmund and Kristen run into Marlena at the house that Roman went into to resuce the little gir and her mom. Roman is in the house he finds the mom and tells her to go outside. She tells him the little girl is in her bedroom and points to where it is at. He breaks down the door and gets in to get her but when he comes back out the whole house is all in flames. When the woman comes out Marlena wants to know where the man is that came into get them and she tells her he went to get her daughter. Edmund tries to go in and help, but has to come back out the house is in flames. The firemen show up and Marlena tells them that her husband and the ladies litte girl are in the house. They try to go in and they tell them it is go late and Marlena says she can't lose Roman like this or her little girl, about this time Roman comes out with the little girl in his arms and he gives her to the mother and they come to check her out. Marlena hugs Roman and he ask her why all the tears and she says she thought she had lost him. They hug. When Marlena said her husband was in there Kristen says you just called Roman your husband.

Mike and Lexie are talking about Mike's feelings for Carrie and that it will be hard to deal with and them working so close together on is Staff position. Lexie tells him he will be as good as Dr. Tom Horton.

A guy comes and tells Susan to change into her costume and she doesn't want to and he has some women to come and bathe her and while she is in the tub he comes in the room. She wants to know what he is doing in there doesn't he know that she is naked. He tells her to get dressed now or it will be he puts his finger across his neck meaning they will cut her throat. Well she gets ready and when the guy comes back he wants to know if she is ready and she says she guesses and when he sees her he says he has been robbed.

TUESDAY MARCH 10, 1998

Jed and Eric are talking and Jed is trying to get Eric to go back to Colorado with him. He wants him to help clear his name where he had drug this girl named AMy and then he raped her while she was unconcious and then put her in Eric's bed. Eric tells him what he did was wrong. Jed tells him he dosn't want a lecture from him. Shawn comes up and ask what is going on and Erick introduces them. Jed tells him they used to be colleges roommates and they went back to JR. High. Shawn tells him then he knows Sami and JEd tells him yes he remembers Sami and he thought about looking her up while he was in town. Shawn tells Jed sometime he will have to tell him about Eric's time in colorado as he has kept it a secret from all of them. Jed says yes. AFter Shawn leaves, Jed and Eric talk somemore and Jed finally admits that he was guilty and is going to go back to Colorado and apologize to AMy and face the courts. Eric tells him to go for his dream, he wants to be a doctor. Jed tells him he know he can't ask for his friendship now but he will re earn his trust and he leaves to go back to Colorado.

At the Penthouuse grill everyone is there seems like to eat dinner. First Roman and Marlena are still there on their date and dancing. Kate and Lucas are there, as well as Edmund and SKristen has arrived for their night out and Kristen/Susan is hoping that there is noone there that she knows and Marlena waves at her and Edmund wants to go say hi and Kristen tells him lets get a table first and Marlena tells them to join them. They go to set down with them and Austin and CArry show up and they also join the foursome and they make toast. Roman ask Marlena if he can have a dance and Austin and Carrie dance also. Edmund and Kristen start dancing and Edmund steps on Kristen's foot and she says ouch and he says I'm sorry. Edmund wants to talk about the past and when the first time they met and when his mom first kept Elvis. KRisten tries to stall and have him tell it, because she lovess to hear him tell it. But before he gets to the end he wants her to tell how it ended. Everyone is looking at Sami and Franco, CArrie wonders what she is up to. Austin says if she is doing it to make him jealous it isn't working and he feels sorry for any guy with Sami. Roman goes over and talks to Sami and tells her she looks beautiful so does Marlena. Roman ask if there is something between her and Franco and she says no that Franco is in love with HOpe, and they are just friends. Roman talks with Franco and ask him about him being in love with HOpe and Franoc tells him he was but Hope dosen't feel the same way so he is moving on with his life. Roman asks him if he using Sami to do this and he tells him not no more than Sami is him to get over Austin. Roman tells him if he ever hurts her he will have to answer to him. Roman and Sami dance and He tells her he hopes she is done with all of ther lies and decieving people. She says Daddy I am and has her figurs crossed behind his back. Lucas and Kate are talking and he just keeps on getting upset about Franco and Sami and Sami blackmailing Kate. He keeps haveing the waiter bring him drinks and is putting them down one after the other. Sami goes to the bathroom and Carrie walks in and tells Sami she doesn't know what she thinks she is doing with Franco. She tells Sami when her and Austin have their first baby she will know they are a family. Sami laughs and Carrie ask her what she is laughing about and She tells her she won't admit her feelings about Mike. Carrie leaves and Kate comes in and Sami wants to know how come she hasn't aprroved her budget for new faces. Kate reminds her as to why she has her title and position at Titan. Sami goes back out and is dancing with Franco Lucas walks up and ask Sami to dance and she turns him down. He ask her I'm good enough to sleep with but I'm not good enough to dance with. Sami tells him to be quiet and Lucas starts says that he is goin to tell everyone what she is she is a slut. Franco comes up and punches Lucas in the mouth and knocks him to the ground End of Show.

MONDAY MARCH 9, 1998

Franco takes Sami to Titan to have her a photo shoot done. He has her a makeover done and has Keith take pictures of her. He tells her to think of the camera as her friend. Franco tells her she is full of surprises and that she is gorgeous. Franco starts kissing her.

Roman and Marlena are having their date and they dance and Roman kisses her.

Stepheno talks to Laura and she tells him she did go to look for Kristen, but her maid told her she was gone out of town. Stepheno wonders what she is hiding. After Laura leaves he wonders how she could have known where Kristen was since only him, Peter and Kristen new about the house. HE thinks that maybe she thought maybe Peter was hiding there. Laura is sitting down after her confrontation with Stepheno and is thinking back to when she was in the house and going out the door to the pool and Kristen/susan's back to her and she has the gun in her hand pointed at K/S.

Kristen goes to seee Sister Mary and Sissy wantst to know who Edmund is. While she is there Celeste walks in and Kristen wants to know why she is there. Sissy tells her that Celeste wasn't feeling good so she came there. KRisten flashes back to when she had poked Celeste with the needle. Celeste says she is feeling much better since she has been at the convent it is so peacful and quite. Sissy think she is starting to have a vision and Celeste says this is the first time she has had one since she has been there. Sissy tells Celeste that Susan won't tell anyone. Edmund comes and him and Kriten leaves and he wants to take her out, but she doesn't want to go and Edmund wants to know why she doesnt' want to go. Kristen almost slips up when Edmund is talking about he took her 2 times out and Kristen says when and Edmund says you remember and Kristen says yes she does she was just playing with him and she offers to take him to the best restruarnt in town The Penthouse Grill and she says to herself that she hopes theres know one there that she knows.

Eric is talking to the boy from Colorado and he tells Eric he is going to go after Sami if Eric doesnt' go back to colorado and testify that he did something and not him.

Susan is trying to get out and she says she will not let KRisten win and she will get back to Edmund and her baby. She says that Edmund has made her stronger than she ever thought she could be.

FRIDAY MARCH 6, 1998

At the cafe, Eric comments on Sami's closeness with Franco. Sami admits being suspicious of men, and weaves a pathetic story, but Eric tells her to live in the present. Sami agrees. Nicole learns Sami's Eric's twin. When Roman says Kristen was two-faced, Sami admits a similarity, and Roman says he's proud she's changing. Roman notices Eric's nervousness. Sami asks Nicole to do a test photo. Lucas wonders about a limousine arriving to pick up "Miss Brady", and it's Franco, in a tux, for a surprise date. Eric nabs his follower. Kate just can't confess to Lucas. Franco pressures Kate about the exclusive, and refuses Kate's request to avoid Sami. Kate decides to keep Sami away from Franco. Roman remembers Kristen's tricks, and vows to have Marlena. Stefano taunts Roman, saying that John has been trained to be Roman, and so Roman should be unpredictable in battle for Marlena. Roman advises Stefano to stay away from his family, and says that he, the best man, will win Marlena, but Stefano smiles and disagrees. When Marlena tells her about the suicide, Laura asks if Kristen shot herself. Marlena tells Laura that Susan has been exonerated. Smiling strangely, Laura admits to feeling happy that Kristen is dead, and Stefano in pain, and wonders why people are forgiven after death. Laura remembers being at Kristen's, gun in hand, and smiles,remembering seeing Kristen by the pool. Later, Laura tells Stefano how pleased she is about Kristen and Peter, and Stefano thinks she's insane. Kim wishes Marlena good luck with whomever she chooses, as Roman arrives for their date. He compliments her beauty, and says tonight is like a first date with a schoolboy crush. When Roman overhears Marlena leaving a message for John, he decides not to let John ruin his night.

THURSDAY MARCH 5, 1998

Roman and Billie discuss being in Paris, when both had given up on their loves, and how they helped each other. Billie hopes he'll help her now, as he tells her not to give up. Franco assures Kate Sami's under his control. Just as Sami's about to tell Hope about Kate's part in the Bo/Hope breakup, Franco interrupts, saying that Kate has signed him exclusively to Titan. Sami lies about the conversation, as Franco warns Sami confessing would break Sami's hold on Kate, and alienate her father. While searching Sami's room, Kate is interrupted by Lucas, who says he's already searched. If Kate tells him, Austin and Billie her secrets, she can't be blackmailed, and she agrees, beginning to talk about doing anything necessary to survive. Eric and Marlena decide Kristen was too isolated and depressed to have a back-up plan. Marlena suggests jobs for Eric, but he wants no favours. Hearing Marlena confirm dinner with Roman, he's happy she's giving Roman a chance. Leaving, he again senses being followed. Marlena drops by John's, and finds the destroyed answering machine. John, taking the suicide note/ message tape to Abe, blames himself for Kristen's death. Hope tells John he's not responsible for Kristen's suicide. Kristen/Susan remembers pushing Susan over the balcony, and assuming Susan would climb out. When Edmond returns, she again waffles, and Edmond decides she still loves John. John says he loves Susan as a friend, and admits forgiving Kristen, but he could never have loved her again. Edmond says he'll return to England while Susan decides, but Kristen/Susan panics and agrees to marry him. In another country, a man tells a woman with a pillowcase on her head that someone's paid good money for her, and to behave. She pulls off the case and - It's Susan!

WEDNESDAY MARCH 4, 1998

Drunk, Ivan pounds on Viv's door to find one very contented lady. She says Jonesy's incredible, and now Viv's interest is in keeping Jonesy alive! Ivan realizes he's lost his madam. Billie is angry that Kate spoke to Hope, but Kate reminds her how happy she was. Billie agrees, but doesn't know what to do. Kate vows to help. Sami and Franco join Hope for coffee, and Hope says she may not renew her Bella contract, as she can't deal with Kate. Sami, realizing that Hope would hate Franco if she knew, begins to tell Hope the truth. As Kim and Bo discuss Franco's influence on Salem's lives, Billie calls Bo. When Kim asks Bo if he'll stand by Billie and the baby, Bo says yes. Billie understands Kristen's despair, as she's had similar feelings, but with Bo's help, she survived. Stefano, introduced to Edmond, denies involvement in the kidnapping, and asks Edmond his intentions. Edmond hopes to marry Susan and raise Elvis as his own. Stefano swears not to pursue the baby, although later he thinks that some day his son will take the DiMera name with pride. While alone, Susan wonders what went wrong? Susan wasn't supposed to die! Susan is Kristen! John wonders if he can ever again trust his judgement, but Marlena assures him he's not to blame. John worries that, in death, Kristen will accomplish her dreams to keep he and Marlena apart. Roman tells Marlena he loves her more every day. John warns Stefano to keep away from Susan, but Stefano blames John, and reminds John that he has to bury his daughter. At the inn, John is devastated to find a phone message from Kristen, apologizing for the pain she's caused, and hoping that one day he can forgive her.

TUESDAY MARCH 3, 1998

Violet feeds Ivan tea and sympathy, as he confesses loving Vivian, and claims she'd have him if he was wealthy. He insists he'll stop Viv and Jonesy from making love. Meanwhile, Vivian, playing for time, gets a gift from Jonesy - a fur-trimmed bathrobe. He asks her to wear it, and they both spruce up. Passionately kissing Vivian, he lays her on the bed. Bo tells Eric he also was drifting, until meeting Hope and having to make something of himself. Bo says police work is in the Brady blood, but Eric's uninterested. The mystery person lurks outside the pub, as Eric mentions feeling someone's following him. When Shawn answers a phone call, no one responds, and the mystery person hangs up a pay phone. Hope tells Alice she believes Kate lied to Bo about her relationship with Franco. At Alice's, Hope tries to confront Kate, but Kate insists Bo is ultimately responsible, and her unborn grandchild should not have to pay the price. Asking Hope to give up Bo, she claims Hope is stronger than Billie, and can handle this better. Hope wonders what exactly Kate did to keep she and Bo apart. John blames himself for Kristen's suicide, and Stefano feels that his denying Kristen the baby led to this desperate action. Roman says that Kristen did this because Susan showed up without the baby, and, realizing Susan would call the police, she knew her last scheme had failed, and she'd wind up in jail. Abe warns Lexie to avoid Stefano. Edmond asks for Susan's answer to his proposal, but she hedges, claiming to be worried about Stefano. When told of Kristen's suicide, Susan just wants to return to England and Elvis before Stefano causes her more problems. Stefano arrives and greets Susan.

MONDAY MARCH 2, 1998

Vivian assumes Jonesy has a castle in England, but he just wishes to stay in his homeland. She wants to return to her friends and family in Salem after Kristen's death, but Jonesy insists on his honeymoon, picking her up and carrying her to their room, vowing to give her hours of passion. Ivan, heartbroken, drinks shooters. Stefano tells Bart to find Celeste before Lexie does, then comments on the townhouse, the secrets it holds, and his future plans, and tells Bart Jonesy better not return. Sister Mary tells Celeste about the evil in Salem - her kidnapping, Susan's return, Kristen's death - and she an amnesiac Celeste pray for what Celeste feels is a battle for her soul. Edmond rushes to Susan's defence, demanding a solicitor as Susan cries she can't go to jail. John says Susan's found quite a defender, but Roman is still suspicious. Alone, Edmond says he'll protect Susan, and asks her to marry him. Abe warns Lexie to beware Stefano, and avoid the DiMera curse. All, including Stefano, arrive at the morgue where the Medical Examiner announces his preliminary report; the body has no signs of violence, and the blood levels of narcotics and alcohol suggest suicide. Stefano says "NO", but John agrees, remembering her previous threats. Austin and Eric comment on the pretty Nicole as Carrie arrives to champion her new client, Mike, explaining he's perfect for the job, as a Horton, and with his qualities. Franco encourages Sami to focus on work, and says she's as desirable as Carrie, but needs confidence. Hearing of Kristen, Carrie feels sorry for John, as he once loved Kristen. Carrie mentions Mike's campaign, and Sami announces her new talent hunt. Austin comments on Carrie's excitement. Eric senses someone following him. Sami tells Franco they make a great team.
