"Come on, Hadj! This isn't gonna be like last time!"
"We shall see my friend."
"Jonny! Quit stallin! I wanna get this over with!" Jessie said to the boy,
ovusly annoyed. "Ready with the camera, Hadji?"
"Yes." His voice hesitating a little, still expecting the worst. He hit the
play button on the stereo and an instrumental of the song "Whoopie" came on,
and he began his lines.
Hadji: Community Access Television, Channel 196, presents a musical cooking
show... Hot Stuff.
Jonny: A pound of chocolate.
Jessie: Some butter please.
Jonny: Marshmallow filling?
Jessie: Well, just a squeeze.
Jonny: It's delicious!
Jessie: And it's nutritious!
Jonny and Jessie: We'er making cookies!!
Jessie: Mix up a dozen
Jonny: Or two or three
Jessie: I'll lick the beaters
Jonny: Bowls for me.
Jessie: Hey, what's the matter?
Jonny: Looks like we'er gonna need more batter.
Jessie and Jonny: For making cookies!!
Jessie: Okay...
Jessie: Picture a room full of chocolate,
Jonny: Cherries, nuts,
Jessie: and cream!
Jonny: I think the ovens ready
Jessie: We do make a lovely team
Jonny: Let's make some
brownies.
Jessie: Some butter crunch
Jonny: Some snicker doodles
Jessie: Let's make a bunch.
Jonny: The mood is so right.
Jessie: Let's spend the whole night
Jonny and Jessie: Cleaning up...cookies!
