Nix: Okay! Let's take a break from the awards and take a sneak peek at
the ending scenes, of the hopefully soon-to-be-finished musical!
Everyone, give a round of applause to the JQ 2000 team, Diana, and
Chrysta!!!!!!!!!!!! From the Tune of "One Jump Ahead" from Dinsey's
Alladin.....here's All Ya Gotta Do Is Talk!!!!!!!
Scene opens with the newly reconstructed Quest Compound. Everyone was
below the Underground Tech Center, doing what they basically want to do.
Jonny: STOP CALLING ME BLEACH-HEAD!
Mishelle: I'll keep CALLING you Bleach-head, BLEACH-HEAD!!!
Travis: I think everything's back to normal.....my ears can stand it,
but everything's okay again!
Bryce: Except for possibly our health!
Jonny: My hair color's NATURAL!
Mishelle: Bleach-head, bleach-head, BLEACH-HEAD!
Claudette: Stop inzulting Joneee!
Jessie: I don't believe this!
Jonny: *glares at Mishelle* Hmp! Too bad I'm always ahead of you!
Mishelle: WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
Jonny: You heard me!
Mishelle: Prove it!
Jonny goes over to the CD player and pops in Alladin: The Musical
Collection CD. He smirks as the music starts. Everyone looks up from
what they were doing.
Jonny: I'm always ahead of the confusion!
And I always get to the conclusion
And even reach the correct solution!
Mishelle: That's NONE of the time!
Di: *looks at the rest of them* I guess, now I believe you
They yell a lot, and that's no doubt!
Bryce: *snickering* Why can't we just go ahead and throw 'em out?!
Jonny and Mishelle glare at him. Bryce snickers some more.
Jonny: ROVER!
Mishelle: BLEACH-HEAD!
Jonny: LAB-RAT!
*WHAP!!!*
Mishelle: *whaps him with a pillow* Take THAT!
Hadji: *clutches his head* This is a loud SCAN-DAL!
Travis: Getting between's SU-I-CI-DAL!
Chrysta: Can't you just talk, without the yell?
Bryce: *shakes her head* I think I've died and gone to HELL!
Jonny and Mishelle: *outraged* WELL!!
Jessie: This is sad, why can't they just be impassive?
This noise level should be considered a crime!
Travis: *rubs forehead* SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A SED-A-TIVE!
Jonny: I'm always ahead, can't you take a hint?!
Mishelle: You screw up most of the time!
Di: *shakes her head* I do not believe this
All this was caused by a prank war?
Bryce: Well, then, you'll see how petty people are!
Jonny: HEY!!!
Benton walks in, wearing one blue sock and barefoot on the other. He
shakes his head sadly when he sees the chaos.
Claudette: I'll go get some ear plugs....
Benton: *looks underneath a couch* Has anyone seen my sock?!
Travis: *winces and covers his ears* I think I'll bash my head against a
rock.......
Mishelle: FEM-HIPS!
Jonny: SCREW-UP!
Mishelle: BLEACH-BOY!!
Jessie: SHUT UP!!!!
Benton: I'm slowly becoming in-sane!
Hadji: I think I'll visit the Astral Pla-ane!
Tai-Lee: Can't you just talk, without the yell?
So, just MAYBE, you'll get along?
Everyone else: WRONG!!
Jonny: I have a nose for adventure!
(everyone: QUIET!)
Mishelle: And it always gets you in trouble!
(everyone: SHUT-UP!!)
Jonny: You're smart, but I'm much quicker!
(everyone: JUST TALK!)
Mishelle: You always bring a disaster!
(everyone: DON'T YELL!)
Jonny: Why do you keep insultin'?!
Mishelle: Why do you keep offendin'?!
Everyone pummels them with pillows in frustration, knocking Mishelle and
Jonny down.
Everyone else: All ya gotta do is TALK!!!!!
Music fades as the Good Guys group bow to the audience as they applaud
and whistle. Nix and Dark Sentinel grin and clap, then take their
places at the center of the stage.
Nix: Aaaah...nothing like the classic yelling and pillow bapping
scenario!
Dark Sentinel: And now on to the show! Here to present the award for
the Best Spoof...here's The Dragon King and Waveform!!!!!!
Dragon King and Waveform step onto the stage and behind the podium as
everyone cheers and whistles.
Dragon King: Spoofs, parodies, satires.....all the stuff that's
guaranteed to have you screaming with laughter and have their original
creators roll over their graves....or beds if they're still livin'!
Waveform: DK here and I give a salute *they salute* to the Spoof and
parodies out there that make our sides ache and have us rolling on the
floor in fits.
Dragon King: And the nominees for the Best Spoof are.....

award. She grins at DK and Waveform and faces the audience.
Cricket: *insert speech here*
She steps down as everyone applauds and cheers, and exits with DK and
Waveform.
Nix and Dark Sentinel clap as the go back on stage, ready to present the
next round of presenters.
Nix: To present this next award, another alter-ego joins the scene.
Dark Sentinel: And another one too! Please welcome Kira of the
Alter-ego Force and Alina Loran from the Andromeda Crew!
Everyone cheers and whistles as Alina and Kira materialize on stage.
Alina: The great thing about Fanfiction writing is that you can
incorporate almost anything in it. Like life, dance, and song.
Kira: Especially song! This award goes to the best Music Video this year
to ever grace the ML.
Alina: Yep! That's right, pictures to go with the song....through words!
The nominees for the Best Music Video are.........

Stephanie grins widely and walks onstage as the auditorium thunders with
applause. She hugs Kira and Alina and takes the award, then faces the
audience.
Stephanie: *Steph! Insert speech here, okay?*
She bows and everyone cheers, then she exits with Kira and Alina. Nix
and Dark Sentinel exchange grins as they begin to present the next
presenters.
Nix: The next presenters are a couple of people from the infamous
insanity network..aka PAIN TV
Dark Sentinel: Here are Joel Ross and Melissa Spooner
Everyone applauds as Joel Ross and Melissa Spooner come down from the
staircases and onto the podium.
Joel: Since PAIN TV is sponsoring the event....we also desire to honor
the Best ever PAIN TV installment.
Melissa: That's right! Heh heh heh...and the nominees are: The JQ
Musical, directed by Brit and lyrics by Leia and Alexis

Leia: I'd like to start off by thanking the members of the ML for
nominating and voting for my work. I honestly never thought I'd win for
something AGALAIAHRA'n. I'd like to thank Ms. Alexis Ericta for
creating
PAIN TV, an inspiration to us all, and for showing me the ways of the
DBN. I'd also like to thank Ms. Brittany Griffin, my partner in fanfic
crime. And to my Honors English teacher, Ms. Kathy Conradson, for
supporting my strange, but creative, writing. Many thanks go to those
who introduced me to bleach-head torturing: Alexis, Cricket, Lion,
Nakita, and Isis. Without you, I might still be HR.
Alexis: Heh heh heh..I'd also like to thanks everyone in the PAIN TV
crew for their continued support and everyone who's sent compliments to
me and the rest of PAIN TV for the job we're doin'. I hope that we
would continue to entertain you as well as we do now *grin*
The three bow onstage, then get escorted out by Joel and Melissa
Nix: Okie Dokie! Hope everyone joins us in the After Awards Party later

Nix: And here to present the next award, here is Martin Belgado and
Chelsea Collins
Everyone gives a roarin' applause as Chelsea and Martin come down from
the staircase and reach the podium.
Chelsea: Of course, an awards ceremony isn't an awards ceremony without
the ACTION category, right?
Martin: Yep! Battle scenes, explosions, villains reunnin' lose. All in
there!
Chelsea: We're proud to present the nominees for the Best JQ Action Fic

Everyone applauds and when Chelsea and Martin attempt to escort him, he
vanishes into mist. They blink and shurg, then grin at the audience and
exit.
Nix: Heh heh heh...only four categories left before the party!!!!!
Dark Sentinel: And of course, we get to present the most important
award of all, but we go last. So before then, let's hear it for Carlos
Rodriguez and Ina-chan!
Everyone roars and cheers as Carlos (cheered on loudly by the J-J
Groupies) and Insa-chan (cheered on by the AGALAIAHRA'ns) descend from
the staircase to the podium.
Carlos: Well, I wanted to present the Best J-J Fic to the winner, but
Shawn and Leia beat us to it! *grin* Anyways.....fanfics are always a
way of spanning the horizons of Jonny Quest and his further adventures
in the ML. Having new allies and characters is just one of the ways to
do that.
Ina-chan: The New Characters Category, due to popular demand by the
Nominating Committee, has been split into three categories. The first
category is The Best New Heroes Category.
Carlos: And the nominees are.......

you guys, I really appreciate the honor, the applause, and the support
you've all given me. We're one big happy family, ne? Thanks for all the
support and love and I'm glad that JQ 2000's won so many awards because
of you! Hope to see y'all later at the party, okay? :)
Alexis waves at the audience as they applaud, then gets escorted by
Carlos and Ina-chan out of the stage. Then sounds of mild jabbing come
from Carlos and Alexis as DBN-ish principles and HR-ish opinions fly
back and forth. (heh heh heh...)
Nix: Well then! And of course, what's a Best New Heroes Category
without the Best New Villains Category?
Dark Sentinel: That's right! To present this award, here are Michael
Zane and Zorina Skye!
Everyone applauds and cheers. The auditorium rumbles with applause as
Michael and Zori reach the podium.
Michael: *grin* When Jonny Quest goes in another adventure, villains
are a must! Be it in school, or adults around the world.
Zorina: With this award, we honor the authors who have created through
word the most memorable villains to ever grace the ML.
Michael: And the nominees are....Franchesca of the Jealousy Series by

Dark Sentinel: For the last category of the New Characters section, we
have Alice and the Archive Goddess herself, Susan Howe, to present the
award for Overall Best New Characters.
Everyone cheers as Alice and Suze come down from the staircase and onto
the podium. Suze clears her throat and speaks to the audience.
Suze: Hi people! (people: Hey Suze!) Okay..I didn't expect to be here
presenting the awards, but looks like 'Lex dear caught me by surprise!
*laugh* Well, anyways on with the show....
Alice: *grin* Wow....my first fanfic awards show! And I'm a
semi-newbie! *ahem* Anyways, the nominees for Best Overall New

especially. I'd also like to give a big shout out to Fanficplea, who's
been very supportive of all my stories and I miss her. Well..that's it!

Everyone applauds as Alexis gets escorted out by Alice and Suze. Nix
and Dark Sentinel go up the podium behind the mike.
Nix: Heh heh heh...as the hosts of this years JQ Fanfiction Awards, we
also get to present the most prestigious award to be presented here
tonight....
Dark Sentinel: The BEST OVERALL FIC award!
Everyone murmurs in awe as the sign that said "Murmur in Awe" flash out
of the camera's view (heh heh heh..sorry! Couldn't resist!)

Everyone cheers loudly and some asbestos falls from the ceiling because
of it. Debbie smiles and waves to the audience as Nix and Dark Sentinel
escort her out of the stage.
Alexis pops out of nowhere from behind the curtain.
Alexis: WHEW!!!!!! That's the last category for tonight! Thanks for
watching y'all! So..y'all think we should do this next year? *wink*
Anyways, I'd like to give a shout out to LISA for being the Non-Biased
counter of the votes, to my sister Natasha, who whomped me on the head
so I could get the idea for this ceremony, and of course, most
importantly, to the QUESTORS and the PAIN TV Crew as well as the
NOMINATING COMMITTEE, for without you all, this wouldn't have been
possible! So we'll see y'all later at the After Awards Party and
possible next year at the hopefully SECOND Annual JQ Fanfiction Awards
'98! Ja ne!!!!!
Everyone cheers and ballooons fall out of the ceiling as Ode to Insanity
plays all over the auditorium again. Then the screen fades out slowly as
