Hi, me again! Here's another one with Matt and Jessie, not from their
universe(they love each other too much) So make it Alternate universe! Not too
good, either...kinda depressin, actually...not really angst. Hmm...
Rating: DBN, HR, diluted angst, Alt-verse
Disclaimer: Yaada yadda no money, yadda yadda no own. Yadda yadda no sue.
Note: Jess and Matt are around, hmm, 20 in this.

Foolish Games, by Jewel

You took your coat off, and stood in the rain
You were always crazy like that
And I watched from my window
Always felt I was outside, looking in, on you
*Matt looks at Jessie intently while getting soaked outside*
You were always the mysterious one with
Dark eyes and careless hair
*He pushes his damp hair back and she opens the door*
You were, fashionably sensitive, but too cool to care
You stood in my doorway, with nothing to say
Besides some comment on the weather
*He walks in, stating "God it's raining hard"*
Well in case you failed to notice
In case you failed to see
*His mouth drops open silently as she slaps him across the face*
This is my heart bleeding before you
This is me down on my knees
*She starts to cry, and he hugs her*

These foolish games are tearing me apart
And your thoughtless words are breaking my heart
  You're breaking my heart
*He rocks back and forth with her in his arms, comforting her*

You were always brilliant in the morning
Smoking your cigarettes, and talking over coffee
You're philosophies on Art, Baroque moved you
You loved Mozart, and you'd speak of your loved ones
As I clumsily strummed my guitar
*He teaches her to play the guitar whicle chatting on about the new Mozart CD
he bought*

You'd teach me of honest things
Things that were daring, things that were clean
Things that knew what an honest doll hid in me
*He tells her she's the best thing that's ever happened to him*
So I hid my soiled hands behind my back
 Somewhere along the line
I must've gone off track with you
*She puts her hands behind her back*

Excuse me, think I've mistaken you for somebody else
Somebody who gave a damn, somebody more like myself
*(Back in the beginning) She tells him they shouldn't be together, and sobs
more*
(repeat 1...)

You took your coat off and stood in the rain
You were always crazy like that...
*He looks at her from behind her windows, then drives away, leaving a rose on
her doorstep*
